This was officially a once in a lifetime thing for Bafana Bafana. Because the way the new French national team looks...we can only dream that this will happen again.

More accurately if infringement against Teko Modise inside the 18 yard area in the second half was duly awarded we might be talking a different story altogether. That match was probably more painful than the Uruguay loss for a number of factors which include the one I just mentioned.

Would you say it was worse than 2002 being defending champions losing two games and drawing one without scoring? At least 2002 while bad there was no off-field drama and it was more just bad luck and circumstances outside of their control like Zidane’s injury.

No cabe duda que la Francia es el equipo más irregular de las últimas décadas: 94 fuera con el gran Cantona, 98 aprovechando su localiza al máximo siendo campeones, eso sí con el mejor jugador del planeta a medio gas: Ronaldo , pero igual Zizou se convirtió en el astro que todos conocemos, luego 2002 fuera de primera ronda perdiendo con Senegal jajaja, 2006 Materazzi les arrebató la copa sacando de quicio a Zidane y mira que esa Feancia dejó afuera a España y Brazil, 2010 tremenda basura de equipo todos peleados con todos , 2014 Alemania los echo cómodamente en cuartos , pero ya se veía venir el gran trabajo en inferiores , y ahora 2018 campeones máximos , definitivamente la selección màs curiosa de todo este tiempo , ya veremos si en los próximos mundiales vuelven a ser campeones con esta generación superando a Argentina !!!
