France accused Azerbaijan on Thursday (May 16) of "interference" in the politics of its Pacific territory of New Caledonia, which has seen deadly riots in recent days. Azerbaijan swiftly denied the charge by French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, which added to a growing number of tensions between France and the hydrocarbon-rich Caspian Sea state.

Since the 3 referundums have passed, the government wants to reduce now the inequality that some natives or persons that have lived here for 25 years cannot vote

They should not have murdered and forced Azeris to leave in the first place and now they themselves are scared, even though Azerbaijani government did not forced them to leave. I mean Azerbaijan is a relatively small country, their land area is only 86,600 km² with only 10 million population, their economy is very small with less than 80 billion, they're landlocked. That means they're tiny and not influential, so they're cute. But they're brave enough to interferes in French domestic affair of their 'overseas territory', well that's only if this accusation is true, we still don't know yet why there are Azerbaijani flags when they're geographically far away and not having such a high level of relations with Azerbaijan. Prolly they thought it was their flag when buying it cuz of the same colour.

France being a member of Security Councel of UN and a member of Minsk Group for peaceful regulation of Karabakh conflict in Azerbaijan during 30 years, always supported separatism in Azerbaijan, trying to make the separatism and conflict everlasting. Such position is opposite to UN Charter and the international law. Azerbaijan only supports freedom in colonized countries, and this action fully corresponds to the international law. It is very interesting, whether New Caledonia is in Europe and located inside the borders of France? What does France have to do in a land, which is far from France for 15 000 km? How can New Caledonia be territory of France if the aborigens of those lands are not French? Freedom to New Caledonia!

I leaved to hear this: france accused azerbaijan about interferance into new caledonia. First what a hell is france to stop anybody to do business into a island into pacific? Why is upset france on anybody which is trying to gain influence like france is doing in same place? For example rfi. Is a media trust present in a lot of countries and on that radio/site etc is discussing and sustaining opinions, ideeas related to internal political issue. For example i'm curios if i will make my media trust in france and i will start to sustain different political currents and different politicians from france which i want according to my pleasure and my objectives what will do the france state? Will start to investigate me why, which persons i contacted, in a word will start to spy me and in the end if i will affect the persons on power will start to harass me etc. For officials of france democracy is just word to cover thir accusion against others but is not principal when is apply to their situation or to their actions. France need to respect the principal of democracy and leave de people of new caledonia to establish themselves their path and their future and to respect the indepency of them. Not just on speeches and in interviews to television. They need to practice what they are talking.

As a Turk, I couldn't even show any love nor respect for France as a government, country and as a whole, but in their defense I could say that the inhabitants of New Caledonia had the chance to declare their freedom, but they chose to be a part of France themselves. Which means France decides the laws and if they have passed a law, than that's it. You shouldn't have chosen them in the first place and now you shouldn't be making a fuss about it of your "master" decided to pass a law. And also, Azerbaijan is our dear brother, always has always been, but again, France is right. This is an issue what only concerns France, again New Caledonian should've voted against France, they wanted to be a part of France. You shouldn't be crying imho.
