Hi,pressure treated wood will cause the aluminum to pit and corrode. PT wood on aluminum is a bad thing..Looking forward to the build tho, looking good.

How did you attach the 2x4's running on the floor?

you could've went with non pressure treated wood and treated yourself that way it would last and nothing would happen to all the work you put in it but its all about how you treat it

hey, there are a lot of comments about the treated lumber. Check my channel, I posted pics of the after effects on the aluminum. In you build, the aluminum is ON the boat itself. I did not put it on my boat, only the framing. You need to put something between the wood and anywhere it touches your boat. Go to a place that does shipping or receiving. you should be able to get 4x4 plastic slip sheets, etc to slide in between. I get it, cost is a concern and that is why I used treated in my builds. BUT, everyone is correct about the corrosion. Not worth having a hole in the boat itself. Im not knocking your wood choice, I did it. But I am not going to do it again. Let me know if you have questions. I subbed

So it is a 2x4 treated frame that i ripped the 2x4 in half to make the rails. Then for bracing i used 1x1 angle aluminum to help with weight. Thats for the comment and view

Go to Michael Lopez he will tell you how to do all of this. It's important to coat the wood in something could be oil-based enamel or marine varnish but you need to treat it.
