    Thanks for the tutorial. But everytime I try to mask a frame and key frame it, my previous masks get very distorted.

    Nice Video!! Could I use the magic mask instead of the polygon to do this as well?

    Yes and no. You can use the magic mask in fusion to get the transparent background. But, in this transition, you want part of the background to still be there so it would be pretty rough trying to use the magic mask to get part of the background in and out of the frame. I think it could be done but it would probably be easier to just use the polygon tool to mask it out rather than using the magic mask. Great question! Thanks for watching the video!
