Am doing the Catechism in a Year and getting so much out of it. This popped up on my phone and really hit home to a 71 year old. We have served at Steubenville Florida for a number of years. Thank you for your enthusiasm, energy and encouragement. Continue to be filled and guided by the Holy Spirit.

After 20 yrs of marriage. I'm going through a hard time, feeling unloved and unappreciated because I'm not as pretty, not as smart and not as worth to be loved. It helps to Know thatI I'm worth to be loved in God's eyes.

I wonder if the young 9 yr old MIke ever knew that he was never destined to be an "individualistic" ego centered winner (which is the state of so many accomplished people) but a mass winner. A mentor who turns scores of listeners into winners; a leader leading into perfect victory; a winner of souls for Christ. A young at heart priest, with the wisdom of the ages, which is shown by the choice you made to live for Christ and not only be a priest but a really dedicated spiritual reflector and impart er. St. Paul will surely be praying for you to continue part of his work of winning souls for Christ.

I just listened to this because my daughter is planning to marry a non-Catholic. She is strongly considering marrying in his Protestant church. She is discussing things with HIS parents. I keep asking her, they need to come over so WE can discuss a plan. I plan to ask her (he might also) to watch this video and a few more I think are relevant. Thank you for taking the time to make these video which are so important to explain beliefs of the Catholic church. God has given you a great gift! So proud that you are not wasting it!!

@Patrick Montgomery Well look back at church history and see who came first the Catholics or Protestants. And also if you see really believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, then you'll believe everything that came from him such as the ONE AND TRUE APOSTOLIC ROMAN CATHOLIC(UNIVERSAL)church.

Dear Catholics: Please remember that we adore God , Our Blessed Lord on our knees. I invite you all to receive Our Blessed Lord during Holy Communion Kneeling and in the Tongue. Our Lord is more pure more innocent than a new born baby, yet we treat him like a snack, like a candy. Please i beg you. Receive Him Kneeling and in the Tongue, not standing up as if defying HIM and definitely not in the hand, as this practice is Sacrilegious. God Love You All.

@Patrick Montgomery Stop wasting your time trying to contradict faithful Catholics! And for your information bud, The Catholic Church is the actual real church that Jesus Christ himself instituted and you 'Born Again" Protestants decided to leave it and create your own denominations and false doctrines and heresies. You don't express the true message of love and you hate on everyone and tell them all to repent as if you are perfect.

*Nobody* should be stolen from, at all, ever; it doesn't matter how poor anybody is, you do not steal from them, nor how rich, again, you do not steal from them, no matter your own need- in fact, if you need to steal to survive, Father Mike, or anyone, anyone who needs to steal to feed their families has an inevitable duty to commit suicide, for tis far better to commit suicide than to live as a thief and be able to make it to Heaven by meriting a mortal sin in the process. Honesty is that vital that it is far more holy to ensure that those who would steal to ensure their families survive wind up in Hell for all eternity than to steal to do good!

Frankly, Father Mike; the opinions of those in power, who or whatever they may be, yes including God, are blatantly and forever irrelevant; all that could possibly matter is what we do with our "hand of cards" so to coin a phrase- so the opinions of the entire world, ourselves included, never will come anywhere near mattering. What therefore does matter is objective reality in and of itself, never anyone's petty opinion at all, ever. And absolutely no place is to be afforded for the feelings of anyone with any kind of power; best odds: the complete eradication of all forms of power and all those infected by power, same with authority: the only good authority figure is a *dead* authority figure; for then and only then will anyone truly be safe: when all forms of power and authority have been completely eradicated by the powerless!

Ouch. I usually like listening to Father Mike but it's pretty cruel and abusive to condemn people who abort fetuses with down syndrome - calling them murderers again and again. It is not your place to condemn or judge people in this way and I wish you would stick to your normal encouraging messages. Try to act more Jesus-like please.

  • @amyakins6752

So...Jesus would be okay with you aborting a baby God gave you? Jeremiah 1:5 says "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you" ESV. Abortion is murder. It is ugly, it is disgusting, it is unthinkable. And it is an unfortunate reality in this country. We have to face reality. We have to stand up to it and say this is evil, this is sin. It doesn't matter how it makes you feel.
