I've been watching vids and reading websites about exorcisms a lot these last two days and I've learnt a big lesson: I need to exercise more!

I agree with one of the theory of soul wounding making it likely to attract demons, I was abused and also had an interest in the occult,I then had some scary experiences I can't explain and some things a few years ago,I even had trouble praying,so I really have faith in god now

Jason Connelly He did not leave the priesthood. He left the Jesuit congregation. He worked for diocese authorities after he left the jesuits.

@@peaceout579 He didn't leave of his own volition. He was laicized - forced out, no longer allowed to be a pastor, have a congregation, wear a collar., say Mass. He moved in with a woman after leaving the priesthood. He is generally regarded as a self-serving heretic though he is extremely convincing. People follow him because people like gossip and scandal and love it when someone stands up and says "Listen to me! I know all the secrets THEY don't want you to know!!" Tread with care. Beware false prophets.

Lucifer was gods right hand man at one point and st micheal was given authority to send Lucifer out of heaven because he was jealous of gods children and had pride. It's in revelation that a third of the Angel's was sent out of heaven with lucifer also and st micheal was given authority by god to do so.jesus himself cast out demons that was his mission here while he walked upon the earth before he went to the cross and was raised from the dead after three days. I believe evil is real and god is v real. Thanku father. Yr testimony is a true witness.

Actually, if you freeze it when it is at his forearm it looks like a dove.

I"m a therapist and given the evidence presented, I referred the ct to a priest. After, the psychiatrist took the ct off of his medications.

God-created the little children How can you say that they are not claimed until they're baptized. I understand that children are not completely innocent because of original sin but to me it does not make sense that Jesus would abandon a child because he or she is not baptized. Please ANSWER my question someone anyone, I am a DEVOUT Catholic and I always RECEIVE the Holy Eucharist every Sunday, and I go to Confession on the Feast Day of the Divine Mercy once a year. Do I need a prayer of Deliverance because I always have EVIL thoughts, are EVIL thoughts just a temptation or a Satanic possession?

As far as i know you do not need to. Evil thoughts come into the mind of everyone, it’s what you decide to do when they come that matters (keep thinking and dreaming of doing the evil act👎 , doing the evil act👎👎👎 , or going to God and asking for his help and the guidance of the Holy Spirit👍👍👍👍👍) also you should always pray the prayer of St. Michael the Archangel whenever you have those struggles

More frequent confession. At least Monthly. Very important. I’ve experienced issues with this and Confession frequently is the first thing mentioned. Sometimes every 2 weeks. Thorough Examination of Conscience Unconfessed sin can give the Devil a foothold.

Evil thoughts are just part of being human. We won't be free of them until Heaven. I think they are a normal temptation. If you are bothered by them, go to your parish priest. I wouldn't go to a prayer group or something like that. They occasionally get in over their heads or misread the situation despite the best of intentions. Just remember, no temptation is a sin, only giving in to it is.

What I don't understand is a baby has no understanding of any of this. And most of us are born to unbelieving parents. How can a baby with no reasoning be punished for being born into a family of unbelievers? This is so troubling to me.

Please learn by hard ps.91 and claim the word of God for yourself as protection against the evil one. Practising the presence of God in your life is a must. Ps.23:4,ps.138:7. Praying these psalms and claiming the word of God will protect you. God bless

So, basically, what he's saying is; Catholic Church is ''delivering demons'', giving them names, releasing them into the world. Remember, where do they go after they've been called out, now that they have free will? And who do they serve?

The Catholic Church does not name demons; they already have names. They are not released into the world; in the Rite of Exorcism, they are sent to the foot of the Cross for Jesus to deal with. They serve Satan. They only have limited free will - they gave up their ability to choose to repent or do good when they chose the devil over the Good Lord. Their fate is sealed. I would not say that THEY are delivered, it is the person who is afflicted who is delivered from the demon and released from its influence. He uses it in the sense of delivering a baby - aiding in the separation of one being from another.

Demons are already free on earth. Their free will saw them fall from Grace; priests don't give it to them. Our protection is God's Grace, the Sacred Heart of Mary, the breath of the Holy Spirit. We are already fallen and very susceptible to temptation. Plus there is nothing more fun for demons than to recreate their own torture within us. May God have mercy on us.

U worked on exorcising this college kid for over FOUR MONTHS? WHY DID THAT DELIVERENCE TAKE SO LONG? How come u can't do all the demons at once? Or at least in one day? Aren't demons supposed to-do what Christians say? So why don't demons go when u tell them once or twice? FOUR MONTHS? Can someone explain? I'm puzzled.

I have the same question you did after I read the book Exorcist's Stories by Fr. Armoth. I had the feeling that the work of exorcism is such hard work and it felt like the devil is so powerful. But after reflecting some more on the Gospel stories, I came to understand that God is all-powerful and the devil is merely a creature. God just needs to appear and the devils tremble running as fast as they could with their tail between their legs. But God 1) respects our freedom 2) has given us power over this earth to govern it in His name. God is merciful not to kick the devil out right away because he will come back stronger when he has the next opportunity. God is training everyone, particularly the people close to that possessed person, the power of a faith life, the power of prayers, the power of the Church, the need to live out your faith life with other people, the ugliness of the evil ones... Remember we are the ones given power over this earth? God is teaching us how to arm ourselves with his power and fight against the evil ones. You can use the image of the visible world too. Once you let the enemies take over your territories, it’s not easy to kick him out. And all the cleaning up that needs to be done after that. Also, it depends a lot on the possessed person. Sometimes there is some small advantages that the devil had given them and they were not willing to part with it. God is merciful to that person to teach him how ugly bad the devil is and in many cases it is that person who contritubes no small part in the exorcism. I got that idea from the book Hostage to the Devil.

The delay that comes with kicking some demons out is not because demons r so strong, but because it stretches our walk with God to continually need his help and call on him during the affliction (pre exorcism, during, and after.) Thank u so much! Hey, when u read that book by Fr. Amorth did he mention any particular warning against homosexual or LGBT community? Just curious to know if there is a correlation between orientation and possessed ppl. Ik sodomy. Like any sin, is inviting the devil. But does sodomy have any special pull?

I read the book a long time ago but I don't remember that is mentioned in the book. I do know that people who had sexual relationships with many people sometimes whatever evils that the other person has, was transferred to them because the sexual act really bind them together as one. As far as homosexuality goes, I read about that in the book by David Kyle Foster.

Does evil exist?Of course it does...we have one as Prime Minister of Canada.Just observe what he's doing to us canadians and you will know that evil exists!

For possession to take place, the person must allow it. they voluntarily accept the dark spirit. A black mass against a family is not sufficient enough to allow the possession.

true but a person with little faith or that doesn't participate in prayer for protection from GOD from the preternatural or that simply is a human can because were all human and we all sin and sometimes don't have the best faith nor pray for our protection everyday were still susceptible to demonic possession and are still vulnerable but having a good connection with GOD and praying and asking for forgiveness everyday can minimize that risk because were then under the protection of GOD.

Sometimes it's not necessary for a person to allow it. A good example is with those who are victims of rape. They can acquire demonic spirits from the person raping them. Another good one is being a prostitute. Having intercourse with many different people not knowing if any are being obsessed with some demonic spirits of some sort. If you watch Fr. Peter Glas talks on exorcism it is more clear on this.
