Fr. Donald Calloway - Fetal microchimerism

In October 2010 we attended the Louisville Marian Conference. Fr. Donald Calloway gave this amazing talk which included the topic of Fetal Microchimerism, a scientifically proven phenomenon of the process by which the fetal cells of a child remain in the mother after her pregnancy. When a woman becomes sick, those fetal cells that remained in her, go to the cluster of cells that are sick to fight off the sickness and make her well!
As Fr. Calloway stated, Our Blessed Mother has in her body, living cells of Her divine Son. The cells of Her Son inside Her are divine cells! She is a living monstrance, a walking tabernacle. God lives in her.
He talked about Our Blessed Mother’s humility, and how God has entrusted everything to Her. He also explained her transition to heaven, how she never experienced death.
We hope you enjoy this wonderful video.

    I gave birth to twins 35 years ago who didn't make it. They are with Jesus Christ. I am thankful that they still live on in me. God so mercifully gave me two other children. I can't wait to tell them this. 😊 I just love learning more of Mary Our Lady who is the Queen of Heaven. ☺🙏💜✝️

    I always felt my children are part of me... physically. I thought it was just because they lived in me for 9 months, but this takes it to a whole new level! I had heard once there is no prayer stronger than a mother's prayer for her children! I think my kids know this too, because they come to me to pray for them. I guess they can feel it too! All Glory to God! He is so amazing!! Thank you Lord for the gift of Mary!

    What happens if the child is sick?? Does the mother then get left with unhealthy cells in the body??

  • @Oscar.Carmona
    @Oscar.Carmona6 ай бұрын

    I have not seen any study detecting cells for the rest / remainder of their life Fetal cells can persist in a mother's body for an extended period, and in some cases, they may be detectable for many years after pregnancy. The duration of persistence can vary among individuals. Research suggests that fetal cells can be found in maternal tissues, including the blood, bone marrow, and organs, for several decades [TEMPORARY] Some studies have reported the presence of fetal cells in women many years after giving birth, with cells still being detected even decades later. However, the exact timeline and the extent of microchimerism can vary between individuals. It's important to note that the long-term implications and effects of microchimerism are still an active area of research, and scientists are studying how these cells may influence maternal health, autoimmune diseases, and other aspects of physiology.

    I'm really not sure that a priest is the one to teach about this subject. I understand the Jesuits in particular are very scholarly, but still probably not the first source I would go to.
