PROP IS REVERSED: For all of you with a Laser Keen Vision & knowledge of the RC Hobby, please note that when I showed a closeup of the prop being placed on the FLASH, it was Reversed. I realized this when flying last summer (year 2023) as there was no thrust, so it was corrected before the flights you saw in this video, however I edited in the ncorrect video segment (lack of sleep & coffee will do that). The good news is that I realized my mistake earlier this week... The bad news is I totally forgot to correct it before the video went live (my bad).

I love FPV on a plane. Especially for long distance cruising. LOS is a blast, but its so relaxing to just take a long easy cruise with a FPV plane.

i had like 2 skywalkers.. both with the 2 meter wings.. i dont dare fly them anymore.. mostly because regulations and a bit because they are so expensive with the fyutech or whatsitsname gps/autopilot that i get scared handlaunching em.. even had directional antennas and that diversity reciever.. was close to getting intothat tracking antenna thing.. ohwell..

I used to live in Winnipeg and Brandon Manitoba. So cold there that I rarely ventured outside.

Another good video and doing it in the very cold was brave of you.

Think FPV would give me motion sickness...or i would certainly spear myself with the plane 😂 very cool though

Haven’t flown my RC planes in decades they still have the old radio gear with the plug-in crystals, now you are tempting me to stick a 03 cam onto one, don’t fancy swapping out the glow plug engine for electric, but may swap out radio gear and give that a try.

Once you get back out flying, the RC Hobby bug will bite you again.

Grip that from the top and toss it. Quarter to half throttle and hold right aileron and away it flies

It is designed for belly landing. When you get to six inches off the ground you flair the plane (I.e., give it plenty of up elevator to lift the nose) and it then just slides along the ground.

Prop was on backwards every flight. That's why you couldn't get to the top speed.

In Canada you register items you own that are over 250 grams. So those planes, helicopters, drones that are mine, that are over 250 grams, get registered. The good thing for me is that often the items I review are not mine, thus not my responsibility to register.
