Hi o/ Good work-out. If you throw a couple of hand warmers in with your batteries to keep them warm, before use, they will perform in the cold much better. As for your power loops... the camera angle vs actual angle is not intuitive for you, because of this you are spending too much time going up, instead of back. It would help you a lot if you found something like a power-line or a tree branch to practice with as it gives you a leatteral visual reference. It takes surprisingly less throttle.

I should get extra warmers for my hand too lol, and changing the angle definitely helped, thank you!

3 years later and 2100 uploads later...I'm still trying to get my power loops looking better :0) there is no such thing as mastering when it comes to FPV...only more and more practice!

Absolutely! Even “failing” is still learning!

Power loops are deceptively tricky. I feel like you got a pretty good grasp on power loop basics here. You may want to try a lower camera angle. Faster isn’t always better for freestyle. I also recommend trying out different rates to smooth out your turning. Bardwell’s last build series had some great beginner rates which I used on my 3” build and absolutely love, it just locks the turning in on rails. Happy flying, and glad you didn’t break any hardware in your crashes. 😊

Ill check that out! After changing the angle I realized I didn’t like it that steep. Thanks you!

@@timofpv6 lol I feel yah. it helped me out alot, after braking 3 quads, I figured it would be cheaper to get a sim rather than buying another quad. and oh boi did it help. its crazy how you can get the sim to feel exactly like your real drone. I also got drl sim and I was able to recreate my back yard in the editor to practice in. It changed my flying forever, as you can rip endless packs without recharging.
