We also did a video on the fox suspension tune. Im curious if I should have done my fox tune with the spacers..what advantage do they have as opposed to just adjusting more preload. Thanks. Keep up with the informational videos. Cheers 👍

@Jason Boone with the spacer you are extending the shock shaft.without spacer you have to increase the preload to achieve that.

cant you just turn the spring nuts on the threaded shock body to make an adjustment? Why are you installing a spacer?

I have seen very few videos on spring spacers and then later videos of the same SXS without them. Are they not that good (better way to gain clearance) or creating problems later? I have a STOCK 64" 2017 turbo R and bottom out on everything in the woods. 32's are on the way and bought the 1.5" spacer and just curious if I should just scrap them or install and send it?

Install and sent them, there is a better way is buying the shock therapy shocks setup to your spec but obviously is more expensive

Most people uses spacers to account for the "set" their spring takes over time. Or a cheap lift.. new springs is the better way to go.

I am looking at doing spring spacers I see this is an older video. My question is how do you like them and do you still have them in you car ?

Scott Scott you have to remove the bottom of the shock slide the spring out slide the spacer in and slide the spring back in and mount the bottom back

It made it smoother sinc the shocks gain more travel and has more spring support for the hight I set them up

I have the 2020 can am x3 turbo and going to install 32s to my orivinal rims and 2 inch spacers in the wheels for they can fit im doing this because of clearance it hits in the bottow can i also install the spring spacers for extra lift?

Yes you can but with the setup you have I would recommend a fox tube that should put you right where you need!

How much would u charge me if I take it to you I would want to do it myself but idk I rather have u do it lol I'm from orange county area

I can do it and show you how to do it in case you want to change the setup for $200 and a six of Coronas!!! but you will need to buy the spacers
