Just took the biggest crash I've had in 13 years of mtn biking. My head took most of the impact. I would be in the hospital or dead if I wasn't wearing a helmet. But I had a Speedframe Pro helmet on that I have worn for at least a year. After the crash I had 0 symptoms of concussion. Never lost consciousness. Just a tiny bruise on my forehead where the initial impact happened. I thought $190 was probably overpaying for a helmet when I first bought it, but I liked the look and comfort of the Speedframe so I justified the price. Now I'm sold on the protection being second to none and $190 for a helmet that can do what it did on a crash as big as mine now seems cheap compared to the cost of what less protection would have led to. I'm getting the same helmet in the new colorway, and I'm stoked to get back on my bike.... as soon as my hip and shoulder heal up enough.

Good review. For the reflexion of gloss finish, you can sand it off a little with sandpaper let's say 220 grit or so.

I have the same helmet but in red and black and the underside where your is gloss mine is matt black, must depend on which color you choose I guess. And yes the helmet is very nice fit and finish, was also looking at POC and KASK but hard to get during lockdown as I live in Sydney Aust, most things are in short supply especial gloves and chain cleaner for some reason.

You can turn that glossy finsih that reflects into matt, in seconds! Just use a piece of sandpaper and carefuly sand the glossy finsih off!
Hi there. Thanks for the review. My head is 57.5-58cm but I ordered the large. Damn, did I order wrong? I wanted a litte extra space in winter time. My head isn't as nicely shaped as yours as well. What's your opinion?

Hi! Sorry... what is the circumference of your head? What size did you buy?? (my head is 55.5cm and I'm not sure whether to buy size "S" or "M"
great vid, if you're wearing a goggle or sunglasses it would negate that glare from the gloss finish

did u say the strap is not adjustable? can't snug the strap as required?

The chin strap can be snugged down as required. The side straps don't appear to slide up and down to better accommodate your ears. I haven't found it to be an issue when using the helmet. - Jay

Hi - Fox calls the color "pine". I had a hard time finding this color in stock when I bought it, good luck! - Jay
Hit the underside of the helmet with some scotchbrite to keep the shine down.

You're right between sizes! I'm a 57 and size M. I can still tighten the helmet down several more clicks if I had to. - Jay

Hey - yes, I'm still using the Speedframe Pro - it's holding up well. - Jay
The bottom line is cyclists keep getting sold garbage helmets that has less than $10 worth of material in it, including packaging. With not much better protection than an eps foam cooler, for the price of a mid level motorcycle helmet.

That's why I just buy Walmart helmets but the only thing I like about this help met is the design. I guess that's what it sells.
Useless.... trying movie not unboxing... speak about packaging.. !
