I highly recommend using a paper that's orange on one side and white on the other side. Start with the white side up. When you're done, the tip of the tail, inside of the ears, and the chest will all be white- just like a real fox!!

If you slow it down, the watch time from viewers increases which equals higher chance of showing up on recommendations.

This is my current mood. Tried making a dragon and gave up on that so loved onto this fox. It’s not very good tbh but now I have Unbalance, my lil green fox friend, named after his constant lean he does. Might try to make his sister and name her Balance and see if she turns out a lil better.

Your can see 3 dots on the right of the screen, then press playback speed, and decide how fast or slow you want it. Btw l still cant figure the tail tho.

Lovely fox origami! It went very well when I tried it even though it took a couple of tries until I was completely satisfied. By the way if you use origami paper that’s orange on one side and white on the other you get a cute orange fox where the triangle right under it’s head is white and the outer triangle of the tail is white too.

I was going to comment this, great tutorial and it looks even better with origami paper. It seems like he might have been using construction paper or something? No problem with that, works better for some things, but damn the orange and white makes it cute.

I did that with green paper that has a whit underside and I adore how it looks. Wish I didn’t lose my cool wave pattern paper so I could make one that’s wavy on one side and plain for the stomach and stuff.

this video is so quick. I was a bit frustreted at first because I wanted to do a quick origami for a birthday. I ended up rewinding and watching parts 5-6 times and then I didnt bring it as gift because it took me 30 mins instead of five. If I may suggest anything: please do all of the steps slowlier because turning over the work back and forth is (for me) a bit confusing. Thank you for the video! The fox turned out well at the end.

no matters how many times I watch this tutorial, on the ears it's always a mess, too difficult, or maybe too fast but even when I slow the video down, I can't get the right 😅 maybe I'm too stupid but this is the only one I can't do, I could memorize the crane (which is my favorite one) I just wanted to share how stupid I feel :)

I tried this once but got very frustrated with the ear bit, we couldn't work it out and I ended up with a funny fox with an enormous head and bent back ears that is looking down at its feet. Named them Neckless because of their lack of a neck. Very funny looking with a zig zag tail as well because I gave up after that point. Could've been a bit more clear but nice instruction and tutorial :)

That's because this guy's "teaching" style sucks. The ear part is exactly where he needed to slow things TF down, and take a little more time to show what he's doing. It's not you. It's him. He sucks in every video I've seen so far.

They folded it inside out pretty much. Sometimes it takes a few rewinds to understand exactly what to do but you’ll get the hang of it.

Yeah. Do those up folds and then unfold a bit and pop it in. Then there is a fold on each side that isn’t creased yet that you fold in. The ear folds are more difficult. The tail and back legs are easier than you think.

Whenever I don't see the cross fold first, to get the original square cut, I always get a little worried.... And then I saw it 3 folds in and was.... "wheeeew" lol

I wouldn't say it's that hard of an origami model, it's just the video is terrible and too fast.

Thank you for this very enjoyable beginner origami. I like that it's just hard enough that you have to concentrate and practice patience, but just simple enough that an absolute beginner like me can do it. The tricky ear and tail folds are very satisfying when you finally get them. I found it helped to slow the video down to 0.5 speed to give me more time to see how you do everything. Thanks again :)

At 3:38, turn the fox upside down and open it up to make folds. I missed that and was completely confused for a long time, trying to fold in the wrong direction. If you turn it upside down, it will click into place really easily!!

This was to fast. We reduce the speed and replay again and again. It took us one hour. This is not for beginners. But we did it. At the end the fox looks beautiful.

Sometimes the instructions were unclear with hard parts like the tail being too fast, and easier parts being made too long.

Can you make a Nine Tail one ?

Try slowing down the video to 0.25 , it’s super slow motion but how to do the ears becomes much clearer. You can do this using the three vertical dots on the top of the screen. Hope that helps.

Well, I tried making it step by step but had some troubles with it... After all, I'm not an Origami Master... Gonna try something really simple, but to be honest, the result looks great! + if someone will try to make 👀 for it, this fox will be complete...

This was litterly so hard bc it was soooo fast, I recommend putting the video on 0.5 and at the tail on 0.25 if you find it hard there. It turned out kinda cute but the face at mine looks beaten 😅😆

The ears look tricky. Look closely how hi alines the corners, plus you kind of have to fold them forward a bit. Now the tail, you unfold the tail part and follow the creases and fold inward up.

I got it!! This is much better than trying to follow origami book diagrams. For anyone who struggled with the ears like I did, focus on folding that rectangular part first, all the way up to the top. Then open up the ear. I thought the second ear was easier to follow than the first, so try looking at that one.
