The viruses work very differently. Even an adminstration like Trump could most likely contain it. Because the few people it does spread to die before it spreads. While coronavirus has many asymptomatic cases and is highly contagious. (Not saying I'm a fan of how Trump's adminstration is handling it)

Let’s not forget that the reason ebola had such low numbers in the US was thanks to Obama’s swift and decisive response to the threat, before it even broke out.

Nicole Gough CNN does the opposite of what you claim. They take a quote of President Trump’s with no context and deceive their audience to believe that what he said is extreme or inflammatory. If CNN truly showed what Trump says word for word, why did they discontinue airing his press conferences? Possibly because when they were airing them, that his approval ratings were higher than they’ve ever been during his presidency? Now, they only show “commentary” of the press conferences so they can continue to craftily edit his clips and statements, and frame him using straw man arguments. What have Democrats done during this COVID-19 era to offer or provide any solutions? What action has been taken by Democrats? Other than criticism of the President and his task force?

Ebola is not considered a threat outside of certain countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Very few people with Ebola have been outside of that area. During the 2014-2016 outbreak, 11 people with Ebola were treated in the United States, nine of whom had contracted it in western Africa, most as health care workers. Two died - a Liberian visiting the United States and a doctor who had treated Ebola patients in Sierra Leone. Two American nurses contracted the disease while treating the Liberian patient, but both recovered. In other words, only two people have ever been infected with Ebola while on American soil and neither died. By comparison, CDC estimated 79,000 Americans died from influenza during the 2017-2018 flu season. Source- Infections Diseases Society of America.

There were 11 cases of Ebola in the US between 2014-2016, there have been over 2000 cases of coronavirus since within the last 3 months....I feel like 1 might be a tad worse🙄🙄

@Brendan O'Donnell Yes because of its very high CFR (80-90% depending on the source), but it's difficult to come into contact with an infected person because 1. only their bodily fluids are contagious and 2. you have to be in close contact while they're very ill. COVID-19, because it's respiratory and can be asymptomatic, is spreading so fast that healthcare systems can't keep up with it properly unless hospitals were prepared weeks before and containment measures were already in practice (ex. Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea).

I'm getting confused whether to like this video for the great work by NowThis or to dislike for the hypocrisy from Fox news !

May 2 and over 65,000 dead from coronavirus. It's over taken flu in less time in number of deaths. Worse is that the flu tends to be seasonal and the rate will go down in the US as the summer comes. We still have no clue if coronavirus is going to slow down in the summer.

I am South African and we had zero cases of Ebola, but 2000 cases of Coronavirus. And Ebola came from Africa!
