Yep, that winter coat time of the year again!! and the fox go FLOOF, all fluffed up and poofy! This is his 6th edition winter coat (being 5 1/2 years old)!

Ron is a pet red fox I bought from a licensed exotic animal breeder, in Oklahoma, captive-bred and hand-raised. My state of Arkansas allows pet foxes without any permit needed.
He enjoys a large outdoor habitat and also a small indoor caged spot in my living room. Foxes are said to make 'bad' pets, but I would rather say foxes make wonderful pets!... just rather destructive, moody pets, NOT FOR CHILDREN.

@@BoReads Well, foxes are part of the taxonomic order "Canidae", which also include- wolves, coyotes, dingoes, jackals, dholes, bush dogs, short-eared dogs, maned wolves, and many extinct canids. Therefore foxes ARE actually rather related to dogs (aka: domestic canines) than cats (aka: domestic felines).

Shadow_ Hunter101 the guy never bit the fox. It's just an unpredictable wild animal. He clearly found that one and took it in as a strange pet. It also clearly bit him hard on his forearm at some point recent to this video. What a helpful animal. Hopefully dude has his shots caught up

We already got domesticated foxes actually, Haha. I wanna say it was Russia (could be wrong on the country there) but they were conducting an experiment to see how domestication affects animals (I believe. It's been a while xD) and they used foxes as the test breed. Now we've got fully, properly domesticated foxes! Cost an arm and a leg to buy though, and the waitlist is insanely long xD
