Fried chicken, okra, kool-aid and chocolate cake? Is this place heaven? Maybe I'll get to work in Gallatin soon. I worked in Murfreesboro all day Wednesday. Nice to have a change of scenery. Love the glasses Henry!!

@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV That would be great. Our work has slowed some in the Jackson area lately so I've been lobbying for work in Nashville. It prevents me from being sent to Memphis 🙂. I have always enjoyed the Nashville area. Hopefully we can get together one day.

Yes, June restaurant season is here and festival season too. We enjoyed y'all's festival video and the sauerkraut looked great. When my mom was alive when we visited her in Springfield TN we ate at the Catfish House the food was delicious they bring out a bowl of white beans okra hushpuppies and either vinegar or creamy coleslaw to your table before you order your food loved it I never got catfish I got chopped sirloin my mom passed but I wish I could eat there again loved the puppies and okra. MAYBE you might try it

Brent, you've got a cute little rock star there! Tell Henry I said he looks like a little rock star. Love the boys reviews as always! Everyone's chicken looked so good and I'm hungry now for some chicken! And the potato salad really looked good and the chocolate cake looked so yummy and delicious! Please send me some by drone, 😂. lol, we have definitely been challenged to get his chocolate stains out. We don't have any idea how he managed to get all of that over him. It was hard to compare it to Gus's since it's so different. The chicken and crunch had similar elements to Gus's while the sauce was closer to Prince's (but not as thick of an oily sauce). It was so good! We hope that you have a great weekend, James.

I could fill up on nothing but fresh greens with a little vinegar sprinkled on them. YUM! I bet the baked beans are good too! I would have to pick the egg white out of the potato salad, but I imagine it is very unique and tasty. I laughed out loud when Brett got the after burn on the chicken..LOL. You could tell the second it hit him..lol. Having Kool Aid on the menu is unique. Hope ya'll have a great weekend and God bless!

I could too, Cathy. Give me a bowl of the greens and I'll be set. We meant to ask the owner what was in the potato salad but we forgot. We think it may have had some cheese in it too, but we weren't for sure. That chicken sure did have a kick and Brent's face turned beet red after his first bite lol. My grandmother back in the 1960's always had a pitcher of Koolaid in her refrigerater. Us grand kids would guzzle that down. I swear we must have been super charged with a sugar high.

The food looked so good. I would get what Jennifer got, including the chocolate cake.

Great video! You should go to the Pizza Hut Classic (retro) in Hillsboro, OH sometime. Looks just like a classic 80’s Pizza Hut. Brings back lots of childhood memories!

We have actually been to that Pizza Hut in Hillsboro many times in the 90s and early 2000's but have never been back to film there yet. We definitely have it on our list and hope to be back in Hillsboro in 2025. Thank you for the recommendation. We're with you - the old classic Pizza Huts were a big hit years ago. The jukebox, the lights that hung over each booth, and the panned pizza's - such a great era. We hope that you're having a great weekend, Douglas.

@@CJTravel1 They do have some amazing milkshakes at The Cookout. We've never tried their peach milkshake but that sounds delicoius....especially in these warmer months. Their banana milkshakes are really good too. Thanks for the recommendation.
