Four members of the Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) have been killed in an Irish Republican Army (IRA) landmine explosion on the Ballyduggan Road near Downpatrick, County Down.
Report shows aftermath of explosion, bits of a land rover and a bomb crater. Security forces at the scene.
Interviews with UDR Commander, Brigadier Charles Ritchie, Eddie McGrady, Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP) and Peter Brooke, Member of Parliament (MP), Secretary of State.

I remember this very well . My birds neighbour was in one of the following landies - we were based in tyrone, it was like the killing fields. You checked under your car, everywhere you went you were changing directions, looking over your shoulder - you never knew who was next. We lived at home!
