I heard this first time back in 1992 wen I was released after a 6 yr sting as a juvenile offender… 19 yrs old and the world as my oyster… never served time again.. except for a 20 yr sting in the US Navy.. I’d like to give this jam some credit for letting me realize how this young man that was raised by an unforgiving mother named Texas was able to learn her lessons of violence and loneliness could find solace in song

Still Waters and Ask The Lonely, two of the most prettiest pieces of music in the music world!! Loved them when they were first released and love them now. This is one of my top five songs of all time. Levi is one of Motown's greatest.

I am 70 years old and the Four Tops have been my all time favorite group since the early 60s. Still Waters always takes me back to my 1970-71 Army boot camp days in Tigerland Fort Polk Louisiana when I was 17 years old.

For almost one half a century, I have listen to this incredible song...I love it as much today as 46 years ago. How lucky we were to have had Levi, Smokey and Frank. I wish the beauty of this song could make all people put down their fears and hate. If we all took the hand of our neighbor and felt the love that we should have for one another....P is for the privilege of loving and the privilege of being loved....Walk with me....take my hand!!

Smokey Robinson was the greatest songwriter of all time... Many artists have done his songs and he wrote for many of the Motown greats. This is a beautiful collaboration with Frank Wilson.. I tried to copy Smokey's falsetto because I loved it so much.. Beautiful and precious song for all to hear. I am thankful to have been exposed to all of this music growing up.

The Tops at the peak of their game, a beautiful Frank Wilson and Smokey song wonderfully produced and vocals made in heaven. Levi has never sounded better and this song still gives me goosebumps. A song of real beauty and depth.

The Four Tops are absolutely one great groups ever, Still waters is probably my favorite, I love this Four Tops tune with a passion. I love everything they came out with , one of if not the best group ever, and there werr many back in the day. This of course was in another place and time. So I know its getting late,I'll be listening to the greatest music ever produced as I wind down from my existence here on earth. Absolutely simply the best ever, I've enjoyed.

This music does my heart ❤️ good.

MASTERPIECE!!!!! Levi and his whiskey voice perfect for this.

I love how Levi would not ever let someone get away with calling the group Levi and the Four Tops and even had an announcer return to the microphone and reintroduce the group as THE FOUR TOPS... Simply THE FOUR TOPS!!!!!
