The Dells are like fine wine , which only gets better with time ! You cannot say this about the groups today . The Dells reminds us of what music should sound like , no computers , no faking it, just pure love in the form of music . Marvin Junior had a voice that could move mountains and his voice moved people . We were blessed to have had a chance to have had such greatness in this man's voice . Thank you Sonini Nanini , for giving us this chance .

This is a wonderful example of what can happen when you combine new and fresh production with classic, timeless talent. This is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies, which I think was terribly underrated. The Dells are what GOOD music and GOOD singing is all about. Some decades later, they manage to sound even better than they did at their supposed peak. Sensational group. Beautiful song.

I can just imagine the problems they endured during the 50's & 60's travelling by car to tour! Especially the south. The greatest group of all time and they stayed together for so long. Now this is real music! It is what everyone should listen to, Teddy Pendergrass included!

R.I.P. Marvin Junior!!! Our prayers are with the big families of the Mighty Mighty Dells! Along with the late Johnny Carter-the greatest co-lead vocalists ever from the greatest vocal group ever. Almost 60 yrs setting the gold standard in vocal harmony for all the more well-known groups that followed in their shoes. The music does indeed live on.....waiting to be discovered by curious new ears.
