@@indo3052 Yes, our works are not what save us. Genesis 15:6 and Romans chapter four reveal that. It is our belief and trust in HIS work that saves us. One reason pride can never play a part. Our works of obedience are evidence of our belief. On the other hand consequences of our disobedience can be horrific.

Submission IS the way to real freedom. DECIDE to believe that 1) He really does know you and understand you; 2) He really does love you and WANT to help you; 3) trusting Him is the very wisest choice you can make for your own soul’s peace; and 4) that learning to understand HIM is what your job is. It isn’t about us getting the outcomes we want. It’s about each of us becoming the person INTERNALLY He alone can turn us into - one whose identity and heart is based on belonging to the one love that is permanent, undefeatable, never absent. Once you understand these aspects of this relationship, pride becomes unnecessary. It’s really a form of self protection. He is better at protecting us than we could ever be. 🙏🙏🙏

And again, with great experience in this area, due to my arrogance, which I never considered it as such....GOD can be harsh in HIS admonishments, but never as much, than what you can bear. So if you are a strong person, both in mind and body, you will be beaten down. And there will be no mistake in your thinking, while enduring the pain- that you have been humbled by GOD. Rejoice in it, because HE loves you.
