    So proud to be a part of this! An excellent system and I truly enjoy brewing on mine. Brew unto others as you would have them brew unto you! John Palmer

    Props to whoever made this video... As a person shopping these systems, it is fantastic to see the entire process summarized in 5 minutes with out some dude talking endlessly extolling the virtues of their system. Your stock is rising, Anvil :-)

    Do not clip the cord cap. Voids the warranty. Make a conversion cord set ( Adapter ) from 120V to 240V.

    What is the purpose of stirring the top 1/3 of the wort during the mash?

    i'd imagine it keeps the grain bed from full compacting and creating a stuck sparge

    I think you only do the top 1/3 because you don't want your grains to be seeping into the false bottom. When you don't stir it there it will just remain where it is. if you keep stirring it at the bottom some of your grains or rice hulls might come out of the grain basket and then clog up your valve.

    Is everyone just OK with chilling wort with the lid off? Will the lid cover the system with the chiller in place? Thanks!

    Travis, you should be fine without the lid, that's how I do mine because you should stir it while you're cooling. This allows the water to cool faster, especially if you're using ice water

    @@JC-ig4xy I have a whirlpool arm on my chiller so I don't have to chill with it open to atmosphere while stirring it.

    Maybe instead of cutting the wire to switch to 240V... follow this guide: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Yqlp2dNql9benpM.html

    Just got mine. So disappointed. Didn't get the pump I ordered, one of the nuts doesn't thread, the silicone gasket on the lid is too big and won't fit properly, the unit has scratches on the control panel and the ring that holds the pot in place is warped. After waiting over a week to arrive, this was what I had to look forward to. I really hope you guys take care of me here. Not a happy camper. I'm returning it and shopping elsewhere. Biggest disappointment in a purchase in years.

    As someone starting off with brewing, there are are few things frustrating about getting information around your product. 1. The lack of beginner information assumes that this product is marketed towards people with a certain level of experience. 2. There is no general marketing information " a pitch video or site" around what this actually is, the ease of use, and how to use it affectively. 3. When you type in your the name of your product on KZread, your page is second on the list and isn't clear that its from the product owners. 4. Similar lack of or assumed customer information is similar in a google search. I feel there's a market for what your selling for people like me - beginners who want to get into brewing but are overwhelmed by the amount of (out dated) information which does not apply and does not 'sell' or counter 'sell's' your electric kit, in the wild. This seems to fill that void, but again the lack of information and the assumed information your potential customers are presented with is troublesome. I feel this could be solved by a quick pitch video and not leave it to your potential customers to fill in the blanks.

    I don't want to sound like a dick, but there are thousands of pages and youtube channels to learn brewing. It's not up to the product to teach you how.

    Don’t buy it! It literally took me almost a hr to get to my strike temp and another hr for it to boil and even then it wasn’t a heavy boil

    120v will do that. though i had no problems with my boil. 240v will half your strike time

  • @JC-ig4xy

    @JC-ig4xy

    2 жыл бұрын

    that's why you need 240v especially if you got the one larger than 6.5 gallons
