They wont ask for ur caste but will play a huge role to define why ur oppressed in every way of life by imaginary someone, they will make concession for gender fluids rather than a normal person, also the more woke u r the more money/ sponsorship u will get. Also not opposite view of extreme leftist will be tolerated there. - Welcome to Ashoka University our one and only woke university where we all will shit on India and embrace Christianity and Islam otherwise if Hindu u r automatically are intolerant. Also we are civilized by Brits - according to professors of university, and dont dare u challenge it otherwise u will suffer ur whole time. Also we take funds from foreign NGO to run propaganda in India with the likes of Gerorge Soros, and many agencies which are always anti india.

Few months ago I read 'Madam Sir', it was fascinating and inspiring. Now knowing about her brother is equally impactful. Thanks a ton Shantanu and team for bringing such a great podcast. 💝
Great interview! Kept me engaged right till the end - valuable lessons in institution building. As an ISB alum, will always have great respect and gratitude for our Founding Dean :)
just phenomenal shantanu .. top stuff.. amazing story telling and engagement .. really enjoyed it
Thank you would be an understatement to bring up this episode with such a personality having unimaginable wisdom, intellect, experience and an attitude to adore. It's a multi time watch. Shantanu, I would request you to bring episodes on the Indian education system especially higher education. It would be highly appreciated. Thank you, keep doing the fabulous work. Best wishes.
The conversation just blew my mind!!! Such rich insights from a person who has “made things happen”. Thank You Shantanu!
Absolutely inspiring. This episode has single-handedly provoked me to reinitiate my education and reevaluate my professional life. Thank you Pramath Sir, Shantanu and the team at Barbershop for creating this.
Wow wow.what a conversation..thank you for getting Parmanth Sir on
Mind = Blown! This is pure insight @Shantanu and @Pramath. Keeping me hooked for ~3 hours in an attention-span era of shorts.
The Barbershop with Shantanu was a great session; I enjoyed listening to each and every word by Pramath Raj Sinha. As someone from Patna, the narrative of his early days was very nostalgic. Also, as public health researchers, we also hardly focus on the great ideas and lessons that business and consultancy can offer. As a sequel to this podcast, I listened to many interviews of Rajat Gupta; what a gem of a person; his every word sounded like a chapter. Next, I am eager to read 'Mind without Fear' Thanks for opening a new worldview and helping in giving a new lens to our critical thinking
What a masterpiece this is! Absolutely loved it Shantanu!
High quality conversation... absolutely brilliant
This was worth spending more than two hours, listening to him was great education itself🎉
This is absolutely a brilliant podcast. Kept me engaged for all 3 hours. All the anecdotes, everything so engaging. Thanks for that, and a great touch with the emotional part of the video, added a very human touch.

The cat has nine lives, and this man had 90, it's interesting how many changes a person can through, and leave a lasting legacy behind.
Absolutely blown my Pramath journey, I can only say one word that is wow. Great Work Shantanu
Every one should go through this video. Story of the person behind a great institution like ISB & Ashoka
Absolutely a visual and audio treat. All the anecdotes are thoroughly inspiring. Thank you for bringing him on board.
One of the best podcast I have ever listened to. So much of learning, lessons, insight and understanding of everything in life. Thank you Shantanu for bringing him.
Thanks for this boss; I don’t think I could have spent a better evening.

So privileged to have studied at AshokaU. And even more grateful for having taught by this legend Pramath Raj Sinha. Grateful to be mentored by him through my career.

Oh, my goodness! this is such an intense and influencing podcast. Thanks Shantanu for bringing this to all. These podcasts are your biggest contribution to our society. Much respect..
Awesome!! Interview. Lot of wisdom Lot of takeaways on education. Must watch.
Hey, this is great episode, I've seen all the episodes of barbershop and I take incredible amount of value out of it. Thanks for doing it! Just a small point of feedback - i listen to this on headphones while walking or in leisure time, and the sounds of eating is slightly annoying from an experience point of view. Not a deterrent though, but wanted to point it out.
Perhaps the only episode in which listening to every single word is worth gold!
what a lovely conversation!
cannot believe I watched the whole thing. Great storytelling skills by Mr. Pramath.

BRILLIANT EPISODE!
Amazing episode!!! Hope you get a chance to do this with Rajat Gupta as well - less about the incident and more about his shaping years!
Looking for chapter 2. As Shantanu rightly at the end i was actually looking for more on how he built ISB and other institutions. The first half of the conversation was his personal life story, although it was interesting in bits and pieces, but it wasn't value adding for me. But i am definitely looking forward for chapter 2 where you would discuss around ISB and other higher educational instituitions.

If u want something knowledgeable better to avoid him and Ashoka university, all u will get extreme left views with nice wrapped up words to destroy ur own culture and celebrating the woke stuff added with islamist and Christianity, also u can research on the university urself and there professors.
Loved it❤️❤️
Dear BarberShop team, please bring more guests like Pratham who have played and are playing a big role in building India. This was really a rare, one-of-a-kind learning experience watching this episode. The guest is definitely a gem but Shantanu who thought of inviting such a guest and asking the right questions is also a gem....keep inspiring
this was an excellent conversation. inspiring to say the least

Mid way of the interview only thing i did was ordered the book Madam Sir
Best episode
I have something to say about what Sinha ji said at @30:00. I am not sure about other countries because of my limited exposure but it does seem to me that in India, choosing to pursue engineering is all about getting into a branch that offers the most lucrative placement opoortunities. It is completely bereft of genuine academic curiosity. Is it a coincidence that year after year, top rank holders choose Computer Science over any other branch? How can top rankers be only interested in Computer Science? Doesn't anyone among them want to become a nuclear physicist or an aerodynamicist or a weapons designer or a chip designer. I do understand that for an average Indian middle class family, children's education is nothing short of a sincere financial investment but we must also find ways of addressing the problem which is that IITs have been reduced to placement agencies rather than centers of technological excellence. I felt really sad when Sinha ji said that bottom rankers were either assigned metallurgical or aeronautical engineering. Our country lags badly behind the West and China when it comes to critical jet engine technology and hypersonic missiles. Streamlining our elementary science curricullum in a way that arouses curiosity in young minds towards technologies of strategic importance to our nation is one way to deal with this problem. Another way would be for the government toinvest heaviliy in sectors of strategic importance to us like semiconductor fabrication, high stress metallurgy and make it even more open to the private sector.
Man, This is actually a reallllllllll golllllllllllllllldddddddddd!
I enjoyed this podcast just like a story, I would like to know more about Rajat.😊
Hope to see shantanu interviewing Rajat Gupta the legend....one day
Would love to see something similar in Digital Health for India if Shantanu can bring some one in Podcast who can revolutionise Digital Health in India. Bring some challenges in table and give some policy level changes which india need to do and how Govt and private both can follow. There is no regulatory body in Healthcare and many things. The way currently india is taking steps via NHA is not collaborate and somehow the governance is also very poor and then people like global tech company don’t believe in India healthcare policy etc etc …..we need someone to solve this big problem
Well said it’s something very learning episode and middle of that host eating. All the time it’s really look wired.
Do 1 more episode with him
Absolutely fantastic episode but his final punchline on reimagining/changing face of higher education is opposite to what he tells Shantanu's team members in the beginning. Felt slightly contradictory.
Oh wow
The only hindrance/distraction in this interview was Shantanu's continuous munching. Absolutely loved Mr. Sinha's journey.
"Crunchy foods are overrated! Soft and squishy foods are where it's at. Who needs all that noise and effort when you can have a smooth and easy eating experience?" 😂👌

37:50 Hi Shantanu! Please refrain from snacking in front of your guests and it does seem distracting to them and viewers as well! Apart from this amazing interview !!
Talk on rajat was also touching
