Foundations of Echocardiography (FoE) is an immersive 5-day course that teaches students all of the theory and practical skills required to perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms.
We have created this video tutorial primarily as an aid students attending the course. It is a walkthrough of a complete study performed on a normal individual, and takes students step-by-step through the different views obtained during a standard TTE, whilst demonstrating the important measurements that should be made.
As closely as we were able we have followed the structure laid out by the British Society of Echocardiography in their document 'A minimum dataset for a standard adult
