Echo BachelorClass - Your introduction to basic echocardiography

This video lecture demonstrates how to image and assess the left ventricular size and left ventricular function (LVF). We start with the parasternal short axis view (mid ventricle) and then move to the apical four chamber view. You will learn about foreshortening and atypical planes but also encounter some pathologies such as: anterior myocardial infarction, left bundle branch block (LBBB), restrictive cardiomyopathy (CMP), pulmonary hypertension (PHT) and we will introduce you to the subcostal view.

Kindly edit the transcript . It has no punctuation marks. Also there are spelling errors that makes one difficult to catch the new terms of technology. All this is probably due to auto-generated text. KZread too must develop auto-punctuation, automatic capitalisation, with ever-updating of technical terms. Thank you so much. The video is otherwise excellent, and very much informative, even to the people of non-native English.

5:02 Had me feeling a little uncomfortable watching this, why couldn't it have been a male? Look how he's looking at her. He hasn't looked at the screen not one time for a long while. 😒 Actually he could care less about what's on that screen right about now. 😏

I didn't view it that way at all. He is a Dr after all he sees both male and female everyday at least 50 times a day if he has a good practice. Are you one of those man hating women? I am a female too.
