Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy, Pushing Daisies) stars in Apple TV +’s highly anticipated Foundation as Brother Day. The fate of an entire galaxy rests on the beliefs of one man in Dr. Hari Seldon (Jared Harris). Will his conviction save humanity or doom it? Based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov, Foundation chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. In direct opposition to Dr. Seldon is Brother Day. Recently Pace took time out from a hazy post Met Gala morning to chat with Bleeding Cool’s Jimmy Leszczynski about Foundation, how David S. Goyer has finally figured out how to adapt this massive story, and how his character, Brother Day, fits into the story.

Great interview. Thanks for letting him expound. It's so worth it to hear his view on this rich and complex character. Lee Pace in the 'Genetic Dynasty' is one of the best things I've seen in a very long time. I could go on and on about Foundation...!
I could listen to Lee Pace speak on this subject for hours. Thoughtful, intelligent and respectful.
He's a very good actor. I love his interpretation of Brother Day, giving life to a character that can be fragile, sweet and brutally cruel at the same time.
