The fact Disney didn't sue their asses or take over the Hamster Dance property for that actually surprises me. Maybe even a company that at the time was making cheap DTV sequels to as many animated movies as possible and 2 live action 101 Dalmatian movies realized that was even below their standards to bother. Can't blame them. That movie looks terrible.

  • @mightyfilm

@@mrlaz9011 No. I'd say the poorly constructed story fits very well with the cheap animation. If there was some sort of emotional bend to the protagonist giving his personally sentimental Teddy Bear just so some girl he had a crush on would like him, it's lost on how incredibly stupid said main character is. He comes off more pathetic than sympathetic, and just the overall writing and construction is just lazy, emotionally manipulative in the worst way. To say the least, the characters' personalities are so one dimensional, the whole thing would come off as parody. And who actually thought that the great grandma talking like a VCR choking on a tape would be intentionally funny? Thing could have had Pixar or at the very least Reboot level CGI and it still would have been trash.

you should cover Dan Zane's House Party if you have time. it was a group of interstitials that used to air on Playhouse Disney from 2006-2007. the interstitials have an intro that starts with a poorly CGI butterfly (which i can remember the most about the show). each episode contains children's music, all created by Dan Zane himself from what i can assume. however, 4 episodes have only resurfaced, and there are most likely more episodes, but all of them have been lost aside from the aforementioned resurfaced episodes.

I have some personal list media: I remember watching Adult Swim when I was young at night (my parents didn't care as long I didn't swear). One commercial scared me so much, I hide under my covers. It seemed like a car commercial, and started with a dark city and red sky, it then panned inside a sewer, and red monster eyes visible in the dark. It was narrated by deep masculine voice. As I said earlier, I was so scared by the commercial, I hide under the covers; with the part I described was the only parts of the commercial I saw. The last time I saw was back in 2011-12 (my memory is pretty faulty), where it played after a rerun of Codename: Kids Next Door. If anyone remembers seeing what I described, please tell more about it. I try to find it, but couldn't. When I type in 'scary car commercial ', it only had that jumpstart zombie one.

Hey LSuperZonicQ, one thing i find to be super important lost media that doesnt seem to be talked about at all is the lost title cards of most classic Looney Tunes cartoons. What I mean by this is the most famous Looney Tunes cartoons have a title card that is a blue ribbon for getting a reward, but what isnt widely known is that these famous cartoons had a different unique title card for each, that are presumably lost to time. Id like to see this on either you or blameitonjorge's youtube channel, because Looney Tunes is possibly the most famous classic cartoon ip, and also my favorite by far.

Sammy just was an unfortunate victim of the late 90's Prime Time Animation Boom that ended in a slew of short lived, often forgotten series. Sure, two of those series did manage to stage comebacks, Family Guy and Futurama, but that was because of cable channel reruns. It sucks Sammy never got license rescued by [adult swim] the way those two shows, Home Movies, and The Oblongs did. At least the last two have a cult following. I've yet to get the chance to actually watch Sammy, though, but my interest is high.

there was a recent post I saw about "Dork Hunters From Outerspace" if you ever look in to that. I remember having what I think was a CDi Encyclopedia though it could be any Lazer disk system that I had. I remember it being a non-PC system that used CDs and was both education and had games Also I know of a few lost medias many from very local productions or from school classes on video production. How interested would you be in videos that only existed mainly in one county of one part of one state?

Sammy looks like something that Klasky Cupo would make. It even jas that distinctive KC feel to it. Also, I guess the only thing that came out of the Disney partnership deal with Hampton was that the song got to air on Radio Disney, as I remember hearing it there back in the day when my local Radio Disney station was still on the air.

Here are some other possible differences between the pilot and final version of the series of Blue's Clues that we don't know about. 1. Sidetable Drawer probably wasn't sentient, as implied by Steve's dialogue when he gets his notebook out of his pocket. 2. Mailbox probably wasn't even in the pilot, because, if he was, we'd know it by now, because he would be right in front of the house, but, he isn't. But, I do think a character similar to him was in the pilot, possibly a mailman named Mike, who would deliver mail to the front door. 3. The elephants most certainly were not in the pilot, as they just feel like a last minute edition in the final version of the episode "Snack Time". 4. I think this was supposed to be the first time Steve met Blue, judging by the song "Can You Help Me Today?", and the first time Steve canonically played Blue's Clues, judging by his dialogue.

I really enjoyed Sammy and it's a shame it didn't get a proper chance. Idk if it would have reached the popularity shows such as The Simpsons and Family Guy have. However, I think it was definitely enjoyable enough to have potenntially grown a fan base had it been given the chance to air properly.

Since other people are doing it I will talk about this lost media I have failed to search for years. It was a mod of Super Smash Bros Brawl that replaced Tabuu with a weird model of Marx, the music is Vs. Marx and the stage was changed to his original arena in Kirby Super Star. Marx's attacks were identical to Tabuu's but he lacks almost any animation, even for the shark blade where it was like Tabuu's but Marx was just dragged alongside it and the crystals in his wings. The only animation I remember is the Off Waves where he slowly spreads his wings and feet apart. Also the player was Kirby with the default skin.

Honestly, so many pieces of lost media are just a matter of finding someone who happened to have a copy. JBVO, Pink Morning Cartoon, and Slamfest are probably perfect examples of that. Heck, Johnny Quasar had to be uploaded by the VA because the creators weren't even sure where they were! Also, the fact that the Nick Jr account called it "lost" really bugs me, since they know people want it but just won't release it. I don't even think there's any restrictions on having the rights to it, given that they actually showed clips of it, so there doesn't seem to be a reason to not release the full pilot. I don't necessarily know if it was anything malicious over just saying "people are looking for it, I'm sure they'd like to see some of the pilot", but it's still getting under my skin
