Might have been a Buttonwillow the loop in the back missing.

Too big tbh, and there’s no place for a loop

The lion possibly would have been the outer cover to a horse rosette. 🐎

Yeah gargoyle is the closest I could come to match it with, could def be a lion or a tiger it’s just a guess

It's a lion face I had a ring when I was young this was the face of it. It had a diamond in its mouth so that could be similar

The lion head is part of a latch. It would have had a link of chain held in its moutn

That looks like a lions head so it might have something to do with a military uniform

I find it difficult to take these people seriously when they rub gritty soil on the face of the coins. That's like cleaning your car with sand…

Not gonna do much to large cents unfortunately, water makes their appearance worse, toothpicking the dirt off and rubbing with your hands isn’t bad, I never rub the dirt completely off of silver because it can scratch it

It is man, it’s just been renovated, the town is 1820s and that was the first house of the town, the field had an 1810s house in it as well which is long gone, research told me it all
