I only discovered your channel about 6 months ago, but I have been enjoying it a LOT! I'm 65 and have a cheap old detector, but I'm getting excited about getting something better, after watching your videos. I think I'd have a blast just hanging out with Brad and Bob. If you want to make your videos more appealing, more shots of Nina. LOL. She's just too cute.

Yes she does...it's nice to see women get out and hunt...I try to get my wife out all the time and she will from time to time but she just thinks it's my "man time" or something....seeing Nina and relic recoverist helps my wife see that ladies can do this hobby too and still have fun.

It is soo good to see a video from my favorite gang of detectors. You folks got some good treasures from those permissions. I am going to need some good luck. Got bad news today, have to stop swinging for a few weeks to allow my shoulder to heal. Got two injections in it this am. But I need to exercise it so I guess I will pinpoint and clean finds till it heals.

I always thought watching metal detecting videos "how do they find soo many old coins in one location " when I first started detecting a few years ago.... Then you start to learn how to detect and how to find good sites. My first hunt site of 2019 I found 2 square nails, a bottle cap,....and 4 coronet Large Cents (1816,1817,1826, and 1828). three were a spill, all in a 3 foot area. Once you are familiar with your machine you dig less trash target (you still dig trash, just not as much). Happy hunting from Maine.

@@thehooverboys thanks man. I love you guys content. Good stuff. In the last few years I've made some neat and rare finds, from large cents to 2 cent pieces and shield nickels. All sorts of neat relics. Maine is rich in history. Just got a amazing permission that dates back to the 1700. Used to be a brick making building down on the ocean in Damariscotta, has stone piers going out into the water. They would load the bricks on ships at high tide. Then it was a 1800 farm. And in 1910 a group of Harvard and Yale professors bought it and put in a tennis court and a bunch of camp buildings. Probably a few million dollar estate. Hit me up if your ever in Maine. Man what a great day! I need to come across the Bay and hunt....LOL...Its planting time over on the Shore so the fields are slowly being consumed by the plows! The bright side is if I can get there before planting its a good day usually. Love the fun and videos THB rocks the ground! :) Good job and HH! Got any decals for my hunting vehicle.
