To address your dilemma of wanting to please people and worrying about what they think, I have some input. The solution is to get old. You’re still young and you have a mindset that it matters what people think. In 10-20 years that mindset magically disappears. I was shocked when it happened. And I have never been happier. Personally I think you are a smart, savvy business person. You both work hard to achieve your goals and still find time to help and care for others. I love the channel and admire and respect you both.

In my 20's, 30's I was a people pleaser and now in my 50's I don't care at ALL what people think or say about me, it's definitely an AGE thing. You learn to not care anymore because their opinion does not matter. I LOVE YOU GUYS and have learned SOOOOOO much from you. LOVE YOU Josh but I missed Hayley and was happy to see her back today.

You guys have some real fun to look forward to.😊 I'm 68 and if somebody wants me to do something chances are I'm not going to do it. 😅 When you get to be my age you realize that whatever their opinions were about you, unless they were signing the front of your paycheck, it doesn't matter. Other people's opinions of you don't usually affect your life very much. When I look back at all the things I did to make people happy, I was compromising my own happiness, I came to realize it really didn't matter, cuz they didn't appreciate it or notice it or they didn't really care. They weren't ignoring what I did but life is busy and people get distracted. Make yourself happy, you've only got one shot at this.

Agree! I hit 40 and realized I really didn't care what other people thought of me. Because I realized I don't know most of those people and the people who mean the most to me, are the only ones that I truly care what they think. Josh/Hayley, keep doing what you're doing and just ignore the nay-sayers!

Funny I never was a people pleaser. I have been teaching a friend. I mean by age 12 people could kiss my a$$. I just didn’t care ever in my life to dress like the crowd and never tried to. I like to be comfortable. I do what makes me happy and everyone else should too.

Once I turned 50, I just didn't care what people thought about me either. I let things roll off my back. Lifes too short.

Why should anyone care if you're doing live shows? You two are so hardworking and transparent in how and where you source and how much you've paid for an item. You're doing a good job doing honest work. People are probably just envious of your abundant energy and good spirits. And good sources! 😛

Great video! One thing I noticed last time you showed the kitchen is the lack of drawers. If you do put in more cabinets I would vote for a cabinet with 3-4 drawers. As a cook, I have lots of utensils, kitchen towels and pot holders and only 4 drawers. Or if you do an island, make sure it has lots of drawers. Just a womans opinion!

You should never feel guilty for doing a great job. Go ahead and watch a sale from the crazy lamp lady. She has such a strong following that she'll sell a $2 nick nack from Goodwill for 200. Over and over again people over pay for items because of her KZread following she has over a thousand people in every one of her sales, because of her KZread following. She's not feeling guilty she's taking her family on vacation and while she's on vacation she's also thrifting and doing her job. If you were retail store you would make commercials to get people to come into your store to buy items. KZread is basically a commercial for your store. If anybody has anything to say about it, who cares . Those are the kind of people that should be paying more attention to how they make a living than to picking at yours

I too am a people pleaser. I will say that I am also a landlord and own two rental properties and it has gotten me in trouble. I used a property manager for a couple years until I felt I could handle things myself. Its been about 10 years now and I am getting stronger with telling people no, or pointing out tenant damage vs wear and tear. As always thank you for an entertaining lunch and I will check in for the next one.

a wise man once told me, "if you aren't able to had someone an eviction notice, you shouldn't be a landlord". Nice landlords get taken advantage of every single day.

Smart.. working both platforms is very wise as you never know what circumstances could affect one or the other. So glad that Hailey is almost 100%. She is a very positive person and her happy 😊 is contagious. Hang in there Josh. You do an amazing job and you should be very proud that you don't stoop to respond to angry/mean/jealous people.

We missed you Haley and so glad you are back from your mission trip where you blessed those people.

Your channel was the first channel I stumbled on for reselling and I continue watch. You’re my favorite and I enjoy your content. You show from start to finish and you engage with your viewers. I can’t watch the KZreadrs who just wear the camera and show what they find, example wear the camera and not have any engagement with their viewers. Then there’s those who just show you their hauls. Keep doing what you’re doing! I’ve learned so much from your channel. Not to mention your house projects etc. it’s fun to watch! ❤
