Dead Coral is legal to own and sell, harvesting live coral is illegal unless you get a farm permit to grow it. You've got video evidence of the dead coral find, so your good. Much love to you and yours and to all of the great fans who support this awesome channel, take a second to hit the like button and share this awesome content with your friends, peace.
I've been going through your videos and just watched this one. We lived in WPB, FL back in 1974. They sold coral in the stores down there back then. I didn't realize it is now illegal to have coral. I still have coral pieces I bought from then. Love your videos!!! Prayers that George is doing good since her surgery. Hope all is going good in Florida and things looking up for both of you. Love and Hugs.
If you are interested in buying any of the items seen in the video, please contact Jill directly at: Jillp4@yahoo.com Jill's Ebay Store: www.ebay.com/str/findersseller If you liked this video, then you'll LOVE this one: kzread.info/dash/bejne/emyjx8OYf6bSfLA.html
The silver "stripe" is Lt rank ensignia. The badge with rifle and bayonet hanging is an expert shooting badge. That's the best. The pistol badge is a sharpshooter badge. The other "stripes" are ribbons that were awarded to him. The holster was for a .38 service revolver.
👍Great buy guys!👍 17:55 _”Santa Clause’ belt”_ is a “Duty Belt”, common among all police officers. It’s worn outside a regular belt & can have attachments such as holsters for gun, mace, mags, etc. 19:31 What you thought was maybe a _”stripe”_ ; that is a collar pin for a “Lieutenant”; used by both police & military. Hope this helps Jill. Good luck with your sales on eBay!

It is a Garrison belt, military used them from 1918 to 1935 or so, that has attachments for sword hangers which wouldn't be found on a police type duty belt.
Keep it! The coral is beautiful!
I would contact Florida Fish and Wildlife and explain about finding the coral in the storage unit. They will definitely know the answers all your questions/concerns regarding this find.
Jeremy great unit Shame that coral was legal cos that would have been big bucks love you both ❤️
Those medals are Genuine military ones...I think what you did with this storage and lady is awesome. so don't worry about haters...
Awesome finds! The coral and shells are beautiful. Great swap on the haircuts. Jill did a nice job! Tyfs.
Amazing!
You guys are so fun to watch. Every time I need a pick me up I just watch another video. I my found your channel recently but I swear I've binge watched a ton already!!! Keep it up. I'm from KY and the auctions here are awesome. Come on through sometime!
I dont care about who owns the unit i just love to watch your videos
I am so glad George didnt get it all chopped. You are so pretty George.
Let's clear something up. Owning coral is not unlawful. Collecting (harvesting) is. It is actually regulated, and there are actually farms for the growing and harvesting of coral in the state of Florida.
Wow!
Love you guys
hahaha "I'm a beautician not a magician" LOLOL
Some interesting finds in there. Happy Listing!
I remember back in 2016. I was working in the japan surplus here in phillipines. I accidentally found gold jewerly worth around $5500. But of course the boss get all of it. I love this kind of job. Dollars gold and everything
Interesting tote looks of unique stuff the precious moments figurine are worth big money it's a collector items
You didn't harvest it though. One thing about coral is you have to be careful handling it. Someone in my area had an aquarium with coral in it and got sick from handling it. I read the news story at the time and am not sure if exact details but I think it had something to do with dust from the broken pieces.
that belt looks like a boy scout belt from 60-70, if those badges go back to during WW2, The scouts were shown how to use army weapons
I like ur new friend she is sweet and nice i think she did very well with the unit and nice hair cuts

The "Santa Claus" belt is what is a U.S. Army Officer's belt. There should be a narrow belt that attaches that goes across the chest and over the shoulder of the wearer. It is often called a Sam Browne belt. The crossed rifles are for the 14th Infantry and are worn on the lapels of an Officer's coat or on the left collar of the shirt if the coat is not being worn. A gold colored U.S. pin would be worn on the right collar (because "The U.S. is always Right"). The hat is a officer's cap. That style and color was worn from the 1930's into the 1950's.
Will you guys be meeting up with Ryan and Alli while you're in Florida? It'd be so much fun seeing all of you doing storage units together.
Oh wow! I’m having adrenaline rushes just watching. I’ve been to a couple auctions and I could be really bad. LOL I’m binge watching your videos down with sinus infection. Thanks!
I would love to see Camp Jeremy guys and Whoever else play Balderdash. That is such a funny game and tons of fun. You should set up a game night with your buddies. We were laughing so much that we all had tears coming down. lol
Maybe the coral was found before the law went into effect . Call Florida’s DNR and ask them .

@@mycroftselene3326 Plus the authorities can't prove that it WASN'T taken pre law. It seems like the law only covers harvesting, or actually acquiring the coral from the wild. Once it's already done, it is what it is.

Very cool finds Jill, Jeremy and George. When you guys gonna come to the Ocala/Ganesville area....love to meet you....caused we missed the Donatella Botolino meetup ...Keep on picking Rob & Lisa.
You could buy coral in FLA .back in 70s and earlier and also a lot could have been found on beach .could been bought over seas!!! Love ya!!!
Coral is made of CaCO3 and in dead form is only a tipical rock. Normaly, dead coral is harves for soil management and used to lower the acidity of soil. Its also used in medications and other profucts for home use. When coral is dead, the name must change to dead coral.
The stained glass candle holder is beautiful!
Great episode guys. Love the show. Keep on the good work. I actually started myself. Have a awesome days.
The coral pertains to live coral i believe
Wow epic finds nice to look at
Hey all!!!!
The medals were from a uniform. The uniform hat is an officers hat. It appears the owner was a Lt.
The grey sandy piece could be a dessert rose xx
I wonder if all that coral was purchased probably the seashells too.

I don’t care about your bald spot ,the front of your head is perfect...
I love the scarves!
Lite brown, flat bladed mineral from last box is gypsum.
The coral could be from New York where the storage owners came from. So not illegal.
@AndySwede58

But the question is - is it legal or illegal to own corals in Florida even if the coral comes from another state? And how can you prove that?
@GLUFSAREN

@@AndySwede58 That's the job of a marine biologist. They determine where it's from and you get fined as the law regulates and that part I am not aware of.
The Iron Cross Badges are current Issue US Army Marksman Badges; 1 Expert, 1 Marksman. The bars attached below the badge tell what was qualified on, Pistol, Rifle, Machine Gun, Grenade, ect.The Silver Bar is a 1st Lieutenant worn on the flat Garrison Cap with the metallic trim.
Amazing military stuff worth selling profit huge amount of money
Love your energy so funny... I hope you sing again that was funny... Tops.
The holster shows honest signs of wear. If you look inside of the holster you can see an outline of the weapon.
They sell coral in shell gift shops in FL
The tote with music box is taped to the lid of the tote.
30:38 is not coral, its a desert rose.
stone roses!
Looks like candles for centerpieces for a wedding.
Happy New year
Coral made for aquariums
The silver bar appears to be a Lieutenant's lapel rank insignia. If there are two, that is probably what they are since they would be awarded in pairs.

That one probably came from the Cap they found earkier; you need 3 with the cap.
Check out the coral before you panic. I believe it is live coral that cannot be harvested. By looking at that coral, I would suspect that was purchased from a store, as it is all in prestine condition
I met Ken Griffey Jr. in person in 1996. Great guy and was a great bb player.
The two shooting medals are different levels of qualifying on military weapon, the crossed rifles infantry officer branch insignia the 14 indicates 14 Infantry, the silver bar is 1st Lt rank pin. The 14th was established during the Civil War and is now at Fort Drum New York. When I visited Fort Drum to see my grandson deploying to Afghanistan, I saw signs for the 14th. I did not get a good look at the ribbon bar, if I did I could probably estimate when the soldier served.
While you get to settle in down south, I get to catch up with the awesomeness that is The Hales... I actually love that I have just found you 😘
What a pinhead. Just call the police, and let them handle it. You legally purchased everything in that locker so you're not responsible for its contents. What you do AFTERWARD you ARE responsible for.
If the lieutenant bars have Sterling stamps on the back, they are from WWII. The leather belt is from WWII. There are a couple of military awards as well. Cool stuff.
it is agents the law to harvest your own coral. i live in Florida and we have all kinds of shell stores that sell all those types of coral to the general public like tourist and collectors. my guess that is were it is from. love your tubes.
I think the law was about harvesting coral not possessing it.

Exactly 👍 You can't TAKE (harvest) coral from a reef, because it's destroying it. You can own and sell it.
Thumbs up!!! Clark
Fragile " it must be Italian " not French from the Christmas story 😎👍
Coral is NOT illegal in Florida to posses . You may not be able to harvest it but it is not illegal to sell or have .
Send the coral to me!!!!! 👍🏻💯🔥
At 13:15 The smack Down , OUCH !
Not a stripe but the pin denoting the rank of a 1st Lt. Some of the older ones may be sterling silver.
It’s a coral dilemma ❤️
You can find this along the beach. Maybe it came from the Bahamas or some where else.
Uh oh !

Lacrosse is an all American game played by many native tribes in the N. East. A big game on Long Island.
Hi 👋
Lieutenant bar and pistol and bayonet rifle pins are sterling, I believe.
I would go on a boat in Fla. and trow it back to help the luve coral grow.
About your military pins... There was a 2nd lieutenant rank, gold bar (butter bar). There is also a rifle expert badge with bayonet and sharp shooter pistol badge. This person was an officer... they carry pistols. I think the unit crests with the 14's on them is the 14th infantry regiment. It was mustered in 1917 I think, not sure if it's still an active unit... those could be pretty old. That holster is from WWII bro... US ARMY 1911 hip holster. Nice unit.
👍👍👍
It's unfortunate that people who're collectors of such things as precious moments. Don't seem to know that the boxes are needed to get the full value of them

Kristi Licea true. I have a collection and somewhere between moves my boxes got thrown out. Of course when I started collecting 29 years ago I was “ I will never sell” but after 29 years I’ve come to the “I don’t want to dust or pack for moving again” lol. And I think my box of boxes was “accidentally” thrown away by the hubs and moving was his excuse. Anywho happy hunting to all from Plant City, FL. Wish I could of caught up w the Hales but maybe when y’all buy your FL beach house😀
George is on the nice list
The dead ends are obviously a Sasquatch
Jill cool
It's a camel!
💯✔
I got some really old newspapers from a yard sale. The year is 1929. I wish I could get some help selling them.
If she is worried about owning the coral ill Buy it off her. own a few pieces that we collected before the regulations.
it says the collection of coral is illegal not the possession
!
Unit crest and the 14th Infantry crossed rifle.
O.M.Chicken! all of this means nothing to scotland.
You look even better with your hair down George!
That coral can easily be bought from elsewhere souvineer shops.. it just cant be pulled off a reef and taken in. Those are far from live and the colored ones have been dyed.. doubt they harvested it themselves.
I would wrap that back up and take it home!
Fox cause George is so foxes 🦊
