Mr Reynolds was filming a movie Hard Ground. I had friends on the working on the set. We lived in Lake Havasu city Az They we’re all staying on the island. We put our boat in the water Mr. Reynolds want a ride around the lake. I’ll never forget what he said before getting on the boat. He looked at us putting his hand on his head said “ these are plugs, not a wig” “so you can go as fast as you want.” The best time ever ❤
Having both worked in restaurants (back of house) and as someone who dines out frequently, that restaurant has a superstar in Maya, she knows literally everything on that menu and how it is cooked and exactly what every part of the dish involves. That is invaluable to a restaurant owner and for the experience of the diner. Good job, Maya!! Excellent car, Dennis and crew!!

I met Burt Reynolds about a year before he passed at a Barret Jackson show in Las Vegas. He spent a lot of time talking to anyone that wanted to talk to him. It seems like when a hero is close to passing they want to enjoy the fans all they can before passing. When I met Tom McEwen just a couple of months before he passed it was the same way.

Love that Trans Am.. My Uncle was Mayor of Cleveland, GA where they filmed a lot of Smokey & the Bandit. He was able to acquire one of the Trans Am's used in the movie.. My cousin still has it..

Nothing against you, but until the day you show proof of what you are saying, I mean real proof, I call it BS. The cars - if you talk about the on-screen cars, they were "ghostcars" that had no vins. They were according to sources crushed after filming.
Still one of my favorite channels! Dennis thanks for taking us along with your adventures. I can only dream of doing this one day!
It's an OUTSTANDING day when a new COFFEE WALK drops!!! #denniscollins #coffeewalkrules

113 & Maya (singing/strumming & menu preaching)- Outstanding ! Another Bandit T/A day for Dennis & crew- Outstanding !
At 6 years old in 1977 The Bandit started my love for cars. Especially Trans Ams and Pontiacs. I've owned two GTAs and would love to own a Bandit TA one day. East Bound and Down Baby!!! ❤
I loved how MR Dennis climbed under the car.. He just proved I'm no better than anyone else.. You are a great guy
Jay Riecke is super cool, he looks like an actor...I would love for the whole gang to get together with Richard Rawlings and do a special hour long or longer episode, on how you guy's won the Cannonball Run and talk about all of your adventures, etc., that would definitely be so cool, thanks Dennis Collins for making my Friday with another great episode, greetings from Baja Mexico, love your show!!!
The man, the myth, The Jay Riecke is back!!! The Trans Am man himself and of course he manages to find you a numbers matching Bandit car Mr. Dennis!!! Unbelievable!!! 😁 Not only was Maya easy on the eyes but an awesome restaurant owner. Food looked amazing and it seemed like you guys had another incredible find. How do you keep doing it Mr. Dennis!?! 👍🏻😁

Bert would have been happy! Dennis always keeps it 💯!
WOW! The sound that TAM made was BRUTAL! Dennis, Thanks for taking us along. Cool!
I saw a Corvette today with writing along the side. "500th Indianapolis pace car". Might not seem unusual but it was on the M8 motorway in Central Scotland, UK. It was a gorgeous blue and grey with red pin striping (from what I could see while following in heavy traffic).
I have an '80 Black and Gold Trans Am 301 turbo (bandit 2) Somebody stuffed a 454 in it in the 90s and I am NOT complaining!!
I LOVE this episode!! I think I saw the fast and loud episode of the bandit like 90 times!! There’s just something so cool about that trans am!! Keep up the good work Dennis and the crew!
❤the CDN connection. Happy Trails from Canada.
DENNIS!! Thank you for your show!! You & your crew do outstanding work & I for one; am so grateful for y’all. Best Car Chanel EVER!👍🏿🤟🏿
Like any young kid driving in the 70's... as soon as that 76 Trans Am came out.. we all loved it. The movie made it over the top and " COOL " I didn't need the Muscle car package of the Trans Am but did go out and order from the Factory (you could do that in 1977) a white Pontiac Formula. I loved the look of that car. I have some great pics of that car parked on Daytona Bch sand as well with the ocean in the background. THAT car was COOL!
It's good to see the full stripe kit has been used! outstanding find! get you some of that!!!
At the 11:43 mark the camera footage is so clean it looks more CGI than real! That is way cool!
Dennis is a great guy, honest and all American guy. You just out class the rest of them, no wonder you and your team are number #1. Thanks Dennis.
My first Trans Am was a 78. Black with red velour interior, no stripes or bird, no T tops but TA6.6 and WS6 package. The second one a couple of years later was a full gold special ediition with T tops, standard Pontiac 400 and the smaller gold snowflake wheels. Third TA Was an 87 burgandy with T tops and last was a black 88. I sure do miss them,

My first car was a used 1980 Buick Regal with Moon-Roof, you know the 18-inch square hole that didnt have a perfect seal? Well i kept it parked in the shade so the interior was less hot than climbing inside a volcano. I was about to pick up a cute girl for a date, opened the door & (OH-CRAP) the headliner was sagging down dripping water,,,the drain tubing for Moon-Roof had clogged up from shade tree debris & ruined the interior i thought the shade tree was protecting.

My first was a 74 firebird Esprit, blue with white buckets and black dash and console. It was a badass, very fast. 2cd was a 75 trans am that was white, blue screaming chicken, 4spd, burgundy interior. Fun car and a head turner.
Back in spring of 1977 when I lived in Dowagiac mi I ordered a black Trans Am with the T/A engine package that came with chrome valve covers and bit more HP. I was looking good cruising the neighborhood feeling kind of special then few months later Smokey and the Bandit comes out black Trans Am Firebirds where everywhere. Those were fun days.
Great CW as always and Zach's B roll is getting better and better. Well done lads.
Back in 1978 ( 1977 model) had one of the 1st Bandit Trans Am 6.6 ltr Great car no one had seen them on the UK road Black/Red velour T tops A/C US car etc I put headers on it my Dad ended up buying it off me he loved the notoriety of an unusual Car wish I had kept it 😩Great to see my model again on your program
There is one in a enclosed barn down the road from me with 10,000 miles on it all original and it’s pretty clean just needs the seats redone… the original owner has had it since high school and I think he checked almost every box when ordering it.

I also have A 1981 trans am ordered brand new it is Starlite black with a 4 speed manual t tops 4 wheel disc with camel tan interior the car has never seen rain or the winter wipers never used garaged kept right from the dealer !
Zack, thanks for a little more time on the food. Love it!
Love the drone footage, Zack props on the camera work on this one. I love it
Mowing the lawn with a 77 TA. Nice! The only option this Bandit TA is missing is Frog!
Dennis is a walking library he knows everything about cars to cars and your cup of joe chauuuu lol
What a great episode! And the car is already restored, not too much work required. All of the people seemed top notch (fairly normal for this channel, wish it was so in everyday life). And THEN there was the restaurant experience--possibly my favorite so far! As Noah Froio stated, Maya is a professional.
"Brothers don't shake. Brothers hug." Great line!
Another quality video guys , enjoying them every week from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺🤟
Another Outstanding vid. Look forward to these every week. Keep up the great work 👍👍
i had a 77 black red interior no AC, 400 t topps. those were the days.
My son saw a Bandit Trans Am just a few days ago. Fantastic episode....again!
Another great show, Thanks for sharing Dennis and the rest of Crew. ✌
Outstanding Dennis, thank you for taking us along!
Oh hell yes! This stuff keeps getting better all the time!!!
The only show I watch weekly, love it ! Thanks
Great music choice for the test drive. As always OUTSTANDING!
Excellent show as always! I'm wearing my Coffee Walk T-shirt at the office today..."dress down day"!! Got a lot of attention. Pro Bono Advertising for ya! LOL
My oldest brother had one of these in early eighties, i was 11 or 12, It seemed like we changed the engine every 2 weeks for 2 years, he ended up buying a lemans cop car for the extra 455 engine to build while the other one was running. I always will love this car, Burt and sally just makes it that much extra special to America.

Every 2 weeks sappy, We would race it and he always tried to get 8 or 9 grand out of 1st and 2nd, It wasn't the mechanics, It was the driver, Which isn't much better, but it is what it is
That’s so nice! My friend in High School had one with manual trans. Could lift the front end from a stop light. Very fast car!
Also Hurst hatch T tops in 77 only for bandit cars..they were smaller ..78 and up had Fisher
@44carbine91

That's exactly right. I had Hurst Hatch installed on my 76 TA. They were prone to leaking after a couple years if you removed them a lot...which I sure did.
That Hawaiian ribeye looked amazing. Great Bandit Trans AM . Burt Reynolds is one of my favorites since we are both FSU alums and die hard Seminole fans.
Usually very jealous of the cars you find, and this one is no different, BUT this time 3ven MORE jealous of the meal you guys got at 113. WOW!
Out of all the restaurants you have shown us that place looked the best. I would love to eat there 💯
Loving seeing this today, since The Bandit Run is currently in my hometown (Gallatin, TN) for the week.
A good friend of mine in Miami did all the striping on the Bandit cars. All 3 cars used were at his shop at the same time very few people knew what they were for.
After that award winning performance intro I thought for sure upon seeing the Trans Am Honey Hush was going to be Dennis’s first words! Never the less, always a pleasure watching these videos!
Mr Burt Reynolds.. is one of the Greatest Actor’s to have ever graced A TV Screen. He is up there With Clint Eastwood.. May Mr Burt Reynolds.. rip🙏🏾🌹🇺🇸
Great Channel Dennis, I love watching what you pick up and eat. Continued success.
Outstanding episode from an outstanding team!
As a previous owner of a custom '78 Transam, I absolutely love that Bandit. I have always loved the Pontiac Firebird over the Camaro. Thanks again for a great video Dennis!
Man excellent episode! You could tell Dennis was excited over the Bandit TA, he was wound up!
Man' what a car' gives me goosebumps just looking at it ' good find Dennis
That baby is beautiful. Takes me back to the good old days.
I can't tell you how much I enjoy your channel Dennis Collins!
You actually could get a SE with gold Rally IIs. They are VERY rare but they're out there. There's a Pontiac distribution bulletin from Dec 1976 that states that the N67 gold Rally II wheels would be available on the SE Trans Am.
I love your videos Dennis. They always have two of my favorite things. Cars and good food
Dennis, we need more of you singing to start an episode!! You were OUTSTANDING!!!
Just like in the last video, Dennis grabs something off of a steaming serving plate with his fingers, then says, ”Wow, that’s hot”. No shit Dennis, that is why they give everyone a fork when you get your food! This is just 100% Dennis !
I have a 4th gen Trans Am, my goal is to have all generations and this is the gen im looking for next! Congrats on the find!
Definitely a great day to be alive Dennis with this score!!!
This dude and his crew are the balls. I’m not sure what I like better !! His amazing vehicle knowledge or his food reviews ?!?!
Great find Dennis I have a 77 SE myself I love it and have been to Dave Halls several times with it. 17' Bandit runner and had an awesome time...if your close to Boone, Iowa get in touch dinners on me...
Another outstanding show Dennis. Great car, great food and a waitress that knew her stuff. 🤠
That guy (Dennis friend) was the guy that gave Richard Rawlings a bag full of money to build him a Bert Reynalds Bandit Trans Am. And have it signed he got a bonus too I remember his face
Great episode. Such a nice car!
Cool car Dennis.Hope you got those 'snowflake' wheels too.Awesome.
Wow what a beautiful example , Dennis love the content , thank you
Hey Dennis, thank you for mentioning "Python Restoration". Stewart is talking care of me on my Series III Excalibur. Ran Cannonball in '79. Remember? We met in your office.. Thanks again..
The best part of meeting Bert was getting a kiss from Loni!!!! She was so pretty it would take your breath away. He was getting us to do a job it was all business. I drilled pined and planted grass on he’s rock cliff. King mountain NC
Always love me some coffee walk in the morning 🤙
Beautiful ride! Well done sir.
Dennis, one of the best shows on KZread. I know your going after originality, but damn do I love the wheels on it!! Keep the shows coming! I should have sold you my 67 Mustang fastback. I would have gotten to go eat with you!
My favorite car as a kid! I wanted a black one and a red one! Thank you Dennis for great content
Love the video. I know where there's another car like that. Needing restoration near me. I miss seeing the updates at the end of the video.
Everyone should have a boss like Dennis.
All the cars you've rescued on coffee walk, this is the one I would take. Love these cars!

Those Louisiana back roads sure look a lot like the type of film shots with Burt in the Bandit movie , nostalgic with goosebumps .
i’ve said it before , Zak’s the guy !!! awesome drone work 👍
Back in 1980 I owned a ‘77 T/A but it wasn’t a Bandit car. It was very fun to drive though. Cheers!
So cool! I have never seen a factory original Bandit TransAm!
What an amazing find! Won't be surprise if this one goes up for 7 figures if not now hopefully in the future, with the rich history and period correct that are on the car.
My cousin has a 78 Pontiac Smokey and the Bandit Trans am hardtop it's nice he rolled past me yesterday with his father on fathers day
Congrats Dennis, on finding a A real Bandit Bird/Burt Reynolds. cool looking car.. Mark up in Canada is making a Snowman 18 wheeler. You Guy's should get together soon..
these cars are always called Bandit Trans Am !. What they really where called by GM was:''English Addition's Trans Am'' with the English Font lettering . LOVE them to death ! oh Dennis your singing not no Jerry Reed
I had a 79 TA with a 301 (pukes.. lol). Swap motor mounts side to side, reverse the trans cross member, stuff in a 365 horse 327 with a turbo 400, add shortened big block front springs, cut the inner fenders and ye have a FUN ride that is near impossible to get to leave pavement. All mods thanks to some Pontiac engineers that left to found VSE. Good find Dennis!
Gotta lve the ole American Classic Trans Am! I sold a Smokey & the Bandit "Looking" edition awhile back.
Man that car sounds so good!! I love it!
The nostalgia is real watching this video. I was just a kid when I saw this car on the silver screen and on the streets . Didn’t get to ride in one till about 18. Was the thrill. Loved Burt Reynolds. Amazing at how much the value of these cars is now. Definitely my dream car, but I’d take the TA from Hooper
