Never mind, I did a bit of research and found a KZread channel ~ that chapter ~ where it says Sabrina received the same penalty as her foster step-dad; life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 30 years. So be it.

For anyone interested: Sabrina got the same sentence as Kevin: life with the possibility of parole after 30 years. Also did a little digging about Lisa's other daughters. Details vary, but all sources I consulted agree on the following things: Megan was taken back in by her father, Nicholas Zanella (Lisa's first husband) and raised by him. She has by now earned a degree in Criminal Justice and lives a quiet life in Ohio. She keeps a close relationship with her father Nicholas and has refused any contact with Kevin and Sabrina over the years. A court gave attorney Douglas Arthur guardianship over Hailey. She's still a minor so public information on her is very limited. Only solid details I could find is that she's also not in contact with Kevin or Sabrina and that she lives a normal life and is well taken care of.

The truth is that the foster care system in this country is based on money not concern for children. In my case had a “ social worker” that in 7 years never not once went to talk to my children away from the foster parents. Never not once went to schools they were in to check on them But he found plenty of time to talk with the foster mothers when my children were in school and not there. Lousy rotten system that destroys children and family lives. The so called “ social workers” should be in jail for child abuse.

This is absolutely disgusting. My wife lost her battle with cancer last year, but prior to that we fostered many girls and even ended up adopting one of them. She was sexually abused by a stepfather for years and fortunately he was sentenced to 20 years in prison. The judge that presided over her case since the beginning is also the judge that facillitated our adopting here....he was also in tears. I still hear from several of the girls and still break down in tears whenever one of them says thank you for showing me what a dad is supposed to be. One of those girls had a mother that did foster care prior to going to prison. It was so very hard every time one of the girls would show up to the house for the first time with only a hefty bag containing all of their worldly possessions and a terrified look on their face as they are once again being placed in a strangers home. I would maintain for them and do what I could to try to make them at ease and begin to feel at least some security and love. We made sure that once a child was placed with us thaqt they would never have to feel rejection again by having to go to yet another home as so many kids do. I still break down to this day thinking of what these kids have gone through. Yeah, I'm an emotional mess as I get older.

While Kevin is obviously the monster here, don't ever let anyone tell you that having a lawyer present with you in a police interrogation is "trying to hide something from them." Police are regularly known for tricking people into saying something self-incriminating even when they're completely innocent-many police are just concerned with getting a case closed as soon as possible with as little paperwork as possible. It doesn't matter if you're squeaky clean and the most perfect innocent person on the planet-ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have a lawyer present when talking with the police! It's not about "hiding something," it's about making sure you don't get tricked into saying something that could have severe repercussions on your life.

Was hoping someone else mentioned RAD. The only video i have seen is this one, so naturally I'm questioning how much actual proof/evidence they have on the foster dad. The first thought that pops into my head is that Sabrina targeted "mom" (as RAD naturally does. Mom is the "nurturing enemy") and only went after "dad" because she didn't get what she wanted "moms life with dad", got caught and needed to try and shift the blame onto someone else and play "victim". It's also a very common thing for RAD to triangulate and split families (mom and dad on the verge of divorce) so with people taking this and saying it was because "mom knew about the affair and didn't do anything", I completely understand as this would've been the same thing I would have thought before life with RAD, but I don't think it's the case. I could be wrong and missing things, but is there any actual proof that "dad" was actually "having an affair with Sabrina"? Possibly in the 1000 texts? After living the life, I'm always looking for actual hard core evidence that proves someone/anyone is guilty. The people living with this disorder can turn a completely innocent persons life around because they are so believable, which is sad for everyone all around, because it prevents RAD from getting true help and the families that are there trying to help often get the blame or as in this case something terrible happens. The world really needs more education on RAD.

The vet later found about 8 puncter wounds on his face and around where his wind pipe is.) I just remember screaming "LUNA STOP" while I was trying to make her get off his head. This is tragic all around. The foster care system is so horribly broken; more often than not, vulnerable and traumatized children are taken from one abusive home just to be placed into another, sometimes even worse, abusive foster home. The system doesn't care where these kids go; at the end of the day, the system just wants money. Kids who speak up about the abuse going on in the foster home are more often than not branded as "liars" or "problem" children because of their circumstances. The only ones I feel sorry for are the children and the mother, the teen included. I feel no pity for the father at all; he's an evil monster who took advantage of and abused CHILDREN. Children who were already traumatized or vulnerable. Source: I was a foster kid and was put into too many abusive homes and when I spoke up nothing was done about it.

I once chatted online with a gal who told me she was being used when she was younger, having like 6 to 8 men every day. How could this be happening? I just don't get how so many could use another human like this. How could not a single man break down and cry right before he's about to do it? Well I guess the caring men are left out of the normal living and women chase after the abusers - this is just a side-note that is sort of disconnected from the main topic.

His wife worked as a social worker for the abuse department and social services let’s talk about the double entendre‘s in this whole situation. The wife dedicated her life to helping children like Bree who only turned around to get abused in her own home by her foster father. Then Bree takes out Lisa and leaves the children in foster care where she came from….. it’s wild rest in peace to Lisa may God be with the two children that are left behind in this world. Have no Thoughts or words that are good for Kevin so I’ll keep it to myself

Thankfully Megan’s bio dad has custody and is raising her as well as her half sister, Lisa and Kevin’s bio child so at least the girls are being raised together. At the trial Megan’s bio dad had some choice words for Kevin and the judge had to remind him of courtroom decorum as I believe if he could have got his hands on him Kevin would be no more.

Eh. As soon as it was established that she was a foster care “child” I already knew it, I thought if there’s a male in the family she’s hoeing to him. Then it was reviled that the father was away working as trucker, bang! All the males into this foster father bs are in it for one reason, they generally marry social works, social workers generally have been abused themselves as kids they know how to play these women to their advantage. It’s very easy to manipulate women, most women are very unintelligent unfortunately.

I was in prison with her in Dayton, Ohio. She's like a hyper active 14 year old girl bouncing around happy most the time. She's actually very sweet in person... still see the little girl in her and I think she thrives in an environment with structure . I'm probably biased but I think the foster dad manipulated her and without his influence nothing like this would have happened. Though it took a very damaged person to be able to be manipulated into such extreme violence...and she knew right from wrong.
