I'm a local now, had my caravan at Graves Hill 2017 -2018, found my mother load on right hand side near where you filmed. 😄🤠🇦🇺

Sian was the ball and chain for us too in the beginning and it took watching friends do it where she could ask bulk questions for her to come around! Hopefully you wife will eventually 🤞🏻🤞🏻 We’re so excited to share the build with everyone! 😍

I was there in the 2008 floods it was insane, Livestock, cars and houses floating down the Retreat creek. Heritage walk-in mine is a great place to also go and visit in rubyvale.

My wife and i are wanting to visit the gemfields in our campervan in July. Are there any gem fossicking tours that we could go on? What do you recommend.

They do have lots of places you can do tours in the gemfields town, they also have pre-prepared buckets of wash where you are guaranteed a find. Take a drive in the town and you’ll find something for sure. Don’t forget your fossicking licence! ☺️

@@BigOzExplorers Born in OZ over50 years ago and I have always known them as Thongs. it is only in the last decade that I have heard them called flip flops or Jandals.

my dad lived at the Willows for about 9 years, he found some nice stones, he used to use 2 brazing rods and he can tell roughly how deep the sapphire's are, can't tell the quality though'

I lived in sapphire for about 5 years. Just recently got back from our cape York trip. And we stayed there for about two days. The place is completely different now. But definitely a awesome experience and place to go to. Also come follow our page StayLostTouring4x4
