Gt7 isn't that much less of a shitty game that only exists to make you spend money via mtx cause grinding credits in Gt7 is a braindead boring chore. Both games are pretty meh... ofc FM being even more meh. But whoever says that Gt7 is a good game is full of crap. I quit with Gt:Sport and likely won't come back. Loved Gt 1-3 back then, though. FM is a 2/10 that had a disaster marketing and tons of false promises. Gt7 is a 5/10 mtx cashgrab that has an insanely dull singleplayer and a mediocre (at best) online mode. The weekly race system still sucks and it sucked in Sport already. This is where FM outperforms GT by miles... which is the only point tho, but a big one.

One motorsport I can't get into is F1. I enjoy the games for lap times, but that's about it! Haha, even though I own a nice model of the new Red Bull car for my display, I can watch it, but I'm more into motorsport or rally. Even if I make a mistake, I upload the commentary for fun, often engaging in banter rather than providing serious technical analysis. I approach the videos more as a gamer than a tech analyst. The videos are put together, and then I either voice over them or do live commentary, depending on the situation. Would your prefer scripted?

Your videos are more enjoyable thanks to your unscripted ramblings than other channels i tried to watch that do the same thing but are either basically just mute or only blatantly reading a script made by a team of writers. Do you plan to continue the Motorsport vs. GT6 comparisons? If so maybe compare some standard cars too since some of them were updated to a pretty high degree (example: Jag XJ220). This could prove to be interesting since they are still just updated PS2 models if i remember correctly. Sadly they still don't have interiors but that just means one point less for Motorsport to lose.

I’m hoping we can open the hood in GT7 vr at some point down the road.

Its honestly kind of amazing that people still pretend like forza is even close on any level. Forzas physics have always been atrocious in comparison but at least they used to not be that far off visually. Now forza cant even beat the last GT game let alone the current 😂😂😂

In-game raytracing would be nice, but still seems like a dream. We all know Kaz comes up with something to give us when a system update comes. So fingers crossed. I just want real cars and tracks at this point. I can patiently wait for Ray tracing or other graphical changes for when GT8 comes.

There's some finer details in GT7 you might have missed, such as the VR showroom actually has a realistic working rear mirror, it reflects the interior based on your perspective. Another interesting thing is in older cars which used halogen bulbs, the way they illuminate especially the brake lights is so realistic, everything is led these days so you kind of notice how analog taillights on older cars light up under braking. I'm going to enjoy that Chevelle, I'm so surprised that PD somehow left out the C5 Z06 and the C5.R Goodwrench GTS car, the '92 Dodge viper RT barebones big American lotus😁.

As much as I like Forza Horizon 5, I have to admit that Gran Turismo 7 blows Forza out of the water, specially the details. Like yeah, the new cars are really detailed (in the showroom) but when you enter free roam, the details are gone and I hate it. And you can't even justify it by saying "Ah mate, it makes the performance worse" because it literally doesn't change. There was a file you used to be able to change that made all the cars have the Forzavista detail in free roam and the FPS didn't change, so it's just Forza devs being lazy and not wanting to give us the full detailed cars. I really hope that in the next Horizon game they fix that shit, specially because the game will of course be current gen exclusive.

Forza's lighting has improved but the cars and materials still need a lot of work.

Let me just say, I love your videos and I absolutely agree with almost everything you say about the shitty game that is Forza Motorsport. The only thing I’d like to say tho (and I think I’ve said it in a previous video) is, GT7 isn’t really all that much better. Of course GT has always strived to making their games look as detailed as possible and I applaud them for doing that. They treat each car and track with the upmost respect which I love. Every little detail must be added it’s amazing. But when you look at everything else about the game, it’s pretty dull. The handling is dull, the career is dull, the multiplayer is dull, it’s just boring. It’s like painting a potato, yeah it looks nice, but when you bite into it, it’s bland. Which is a shame because if they had put half as much effort into the gameplay as they do the graphics, their games would be incredible no doubt. But I just can’t bring myself to get GT simply because, “their cars are pretty.” To me, graphics aren’t the main selling point, no the game itself should be the selling point. Neither game got that right imo which is sad bc they were a big part of my childhood.

Crack Den is bang on as far as that awful forza job. This is what you get when you try to make a game and spend as little money on labor as possible and hire contract workers on junk 18 month terms

It's quite obvious that Gran turismo is the winner in terms of pretty much every detail when compared to forza. It ain't perfect but it's leagues ahead of this "built from the ground up" letdown. It's like T10 knows they fucked up and want to hide their work or lack of work in the dark. It annoys me. Half the time I can't view shit. Then they limit you on how much you can look around. I swear, if my memory serves me right, in older FM games, I can turn my head all around way more than this new FM. I can't look at shit in this one. I have to go into photo mode and try to look around inside the car...from the outside. It's annoying.

The ps4 didnt hold gt7 back. Its the design decisions of the developers that did. The single player layout, the ai, the amount of vgt cars. All of its problems are nothing to do with ps4.

​@@johnm3907I think it was FM4 that brought Forzavista. But as far as showrooms? There's been plenty. Test Drive Unlimited came out in 2006. Has dealerships throughout the 1:1 scale of the island Oahu. You can walk up to the cars and have a look inside, and even change the interior color options. If I remeber correctly, you can start the cars in there too. I don't remember if i could open the hoods though. TDU 1 and 2 gives you the freedom to roll windows down, or if it is convertible, have the top slide back and be put down. I can't wait for TD Solar Crown to release. TDU 1 and 2 were on PS2 and 360 and as old as 2006. Lol. Forza was late, and I love the Forza games. Just saying. This new one ruined Forzavista though. It is WAY too dark. You can't enjoy looking at anything, and when you step inside, there is barely any head movement allowed. The older ones gave so much more room to look about. Just too many disappointing things I can bring up about this new game...

It makes me sad that the Forza games are developed by non car guys, and you can feel it when you're yourself a car enthusiast. Look at the Audi R8 in FM/FH and see how the headlights shines, or the tailights in TT-S/RS. I won't mention the RS4 where the tailights shines in the way of combination of pre and post lifting of the model. They're all wrong and it makes me wondering who the f*** were working on that. Like I mean a team spent a ton of hours to model the car and at the end they just pick random and very wrong decisions on how the lights should shine. It could just take a few seconds to reference from Google Images to get the idea. I don't know man, I do like racing in FM and chilling in FH but playing this with the thoughts in your heads that they just don't give a f*** to take a care about not a small details is sad.

Chevelle ss is coming to gt7 would be nice to see a gt7 vs fm camparsion of that we know that car is an outdated model in forza

Considering I got roped into the console war and now understand the extent of fanboys, my approach to this would depend on whether you get any upvotes for this.

I have both games, and man, it's not even fair 😂😂. GT 7 is miles away, Forza feels terrible. It's ugly and blurry, and the game has no content at all. I've always loved the Forza franchise, and this one was a huge disappointment.

Fun can still be had, yes. Even as much negativity I give it, I still love it to an extent. Mostly due to being with the franchise since 2005. But it's clear in every video, why this is compared and "heted" on. He says it multiple times in multiple videos. If the developers didn't market the game up in SEVERAL different ways on graphics alone and constantly using "built from the ground up" so much, we wouldn't have been feeling so lied to, because what we see are actual recycled content from older games. Some dating back to FM1. So yes, it can be fun. Graphics don't always make the game, but for some of us, a car game is the one that should live up to the standards of today, or it's competition at least. Especially with how they hyped it up. And especially since it's a game meant to mimic real life cars and tracks. Other games, I can sometimes care less if the graphics aren't super amazing.

The only time you worry about that much detail while playing a game is when the game is so boring and your sitting there looking for this crap instead of just enjoying the game. Both of these games suck i have more fun playing most 360 or ps3 racing games

This Channel is a joke, investing more time in photo mode than in actual gameplay. Generating clicks via ranting Forza Motorsport although he knows none of these games is better than the other.🤣Dude, both games run on about the same hardware, so in every aspect GT7 looks better, it needs to look worse in every other aspect, for example the shitty billboard trees or the unrealistic lighting.🤕 Also the car selection in GT7 is literally a fail, but you seem to like silly prototype cars to defend this game.🤣

@@M-hq9xz It’s not that we hate Forza as a whole; many of us who support these rants and videos have been fans of Forza from the beginning. These videos started as a defense against the Forza community, which criticized GT7 for its graphics, etc. So, I responded with fair comparisons and began doing car comparisons out of curiosity to see how the developers modeled the cars. The particular frustration with this Forza installment is due to the misleading marketing; it was entirely a fabrication. The game was supposedly built for next-gen consoles, yet it looks outdated even compared to previous Forza titles. The tracks and cars seem to be copied and pasted from older versions, dating back to Forza 5, and the cars from even earlier, despite claims that the game was built from scratch to leverage next-gen capabilities. @@AutomotiveVP Ok I agree with you that we had higher expectations on this game watching the trailer and hearing the famous "Built from the ground up", but still I think it is the best Forza yet, especially the driving physics are a step forward and the overall graphics is also better than FM7. Some tracks are completely new like Hakone for example and look very good in this game. You can't expect the devs to scan all car models new cause we have too many. I give the car models to GT7, but allaround graphics its Forza.

This guy is an extreme PlayStation fanboy. All he does is bashing Forza. Look at his paint shot 😂 He actually shows very good details and very high poly models on Forza side but he decides to bash it. Hilarious 😂 Being fanboy is something like this.

In comparison to GT7 it’s none of the above ☝️ I bash it because its lower quality then 7 and Horizon yet claimed to be built taking advantage of the next generation consoles. I bash it because of the marketing. It’s ok to be an NPC

@AutomotiveVP FMS isn't a pure next gen game,they are dying under their marketing statements. I read things about the development of this game from an ex T10 development. Most of the very qualified programmers who knew the engine very good have been shifted to other projects in MS and some of them have been laid off cos their contracts expired... They were targeting 20 tracks and the visual settings what they showed in their promo videos in real time on Xbox. But it isn't a bad looking game at all especially real time in game visuals probably one of the best in the market right now although it isn't "build from the ground up for the next gen" You can clearly feel that the game was in development hell cos their AI and FRR systems still don't work as intended but they are fixing the things with every update.
