I’ve been watching this for 12 years now. Nothing has encapsulated my passion for cars as well as this does, I cry everytime, thinking how lucky I am to have experienced the things i have, the cars I’ve seen, the people I’ve met. How great my life is because of cars. And surely that means this trailer is worthy of automotive legend in itself. Poetry.

This, in 2019 as I am watching, has never been more true. We are being killed off, ignored and abused by the very people that made us enthusiasts. Alas, I can do nothing by stand by and watch as more and more laws are passed, taking away my culture and way of life

Not just for reasons of reckless street racing by the younger people but because they now have the excuse of the “environment” and everything surrounding EVs. And even new excuses saying that “a car doesn’t have to go to such high speeds”. People who don’t see the motorsport community as what it is. Instead, seeing is as a threat. A threat that “condones reckless behavior” and “damages the environment” and refuse to see beyond such pathetic claims. More than ever we must stay together for the sake of our survival as as a community.

this is soo emotional for me , im dont even drive but my dream of driving a sports car or a super saloon in a exotic highway did not died yet

Watching this in 2021 when we’re at real risk of the RPM act killing our lively hood. We are a dying breed we get smaller everyday. Which is why we need to cling together and keep this art form alive

I have this video saved and I turn it on while I'm away for college and don't have access to the family garage. It's weird how I'm going to school for a "higher education" yet I constantly an thinking of performance upgrades I would like to do to my truck. One day I'll have time to make a track day truck. This ad just nails how so many of feel about our vehicles. We may drive an 03 cobalt, a 98 civic, or my 89 Silverado, though we all have different vehicles we all strive to make the very best of what we have. I just really love this so so much. Jeremy Clarkson has such a soothing voice as well. Maybe 2017 will be a good year for all of our performance enhancing pursuits.

The original DB9 is such a gorgeous machine

Here in 2024 now, looking back to my childhood self watching this as the game first came out. Now growing into an adult in this insane world, I’m into cars to keep my old self happy. It’s a wonderful different lifestyle. This video gave me unexplainable feeling and Jeremy Clarkson is a great man.

That hurts not only all the way to my core but trough to my very soul. Every fibre in my body breathes the fumes of petrol and diesel. My blood is pure gasoline and i am a car guy no matter what. Old cars, new cars, imports, tuners muscle, jdm, lowriders, even ricers... We are one big family of car enthusiasts and we burn with a passion with everything that has wheels and we should stand together in this, fight thr hand that forces us away, to scurry in the dark, hunts us... We are like thr pirates of old, shunned, much like Clarkson says... I dreqd the day we will no longer hear the roar of a V8, the song of the V12, the bellow of a diesel engine... This will all soon be nothing but echoes of the past and all we will have left is our memories of these good times... So lads, lets raise our glasses one last time for the combustion engine. And lets send it out with a bang (not literally ofcourse).. because if the governments gets their way (and they will) they will soon be all but gone.

I appreciate internal combustion but I'm a different breed. I believe that there is value in high-tech mods that no one does. Put an electric motor in place of your alternator, for example, and the possibilities are huge. Have a Civic that's gutless below 4000 RPM? An electric-assist system would give tons of instantly available torque. Want your engine to automatically shut off at a stoplight? The same ECU that controls this assist system would be able to shut off and instantly restart the engine.

I got Forza 4 right when it came out for my birthday my freshman year of high school. 10 years later, I still get the same feeling watching this and hearing Jeremy. Freshman year me would be very proud of where I am in my racing career now, and I owe so much of it to this game. Thank you Forza.

Ok every car guy needs to club together to by a giant island with great roads to just drive on with no speed limits just pure fun and speed

Yeah, Jeremy was totally right on this, we are so focused on economical benefits that we cannot have abit of fun with our cars, we demand luxury when we could have power and peformance, soon V12's, V10's.. Hell every gasolinepowered car will be an page in a automotive historybook. Soon its all about electronical powered cars and hybrid cars, and hybrid cars are certanly showing to make major move nowdays.

A well-designed hybrid can pack a serious punch though. 2002 Prius - 300+ lb-ft at 0rpm, no kidding.

I really cried watching this while I watched out of my window from my room to my bmw. My dad came into my room and he said „i can understand your love for cars that’s why I love you so much I raised you as a Petrolhead and I am SO proud of you my son“

This video sums up right now. The end of the automotive world is almost here already so watching this is incredibly sad tbh.

Every time I see one of those bloody priuses on the road, I fear for the future of driving enjoyment, sadly, they are more numerous than cockroaches now, I have no issues with hybrid powertrains, properly set up they are capable of impressive performance, it's just the gutless econoboxes like the prius that vex me

I fear that electric will take over and they'll be no room for us lovers of speed and V8s and V12s, and well just have Bastard Hybrid Camrys and Tesla's. URUGUAY, I WAS THERE WHEN THE RECORD THIS TRAILER IT WAS AMAZING!

It’s currently 2021 and the epa is making a push to ban all performance modifications on civilian vehicles as well as trying to ban all motor sports. This speech has never been more true. car culture is hurting who knows how long it’ll be before it’s gone 😔

This reminds me of the last episode of the 13th series of Top Gear when Jeremy drives the V12 Vantage. His farewell to motoring as we know it. Thank god for people like him and the fine folks at Turn10 Studios for keeping dreams alive.

This trailer is very true indeed. Especially today the car enthusiast is being pretty much hunted down with the switch to all electric cars and the suppose worldwide ban of gas cars in the year 2030

This has to be one of the best adverts of all time and it makes it even better that it is for in my opinion the best forza of all time and id argue one of the best driving games of all time

The year is 2021, Mercedes-Benz have just announced the C63 AMG will be an electric hybrid 4 cyl. I wish I was joking.

Bro this literally brought me to tears. Most brilliant move ever was Forza getting Clarkson on this game. I don’t know if there is a more beloved figure in the whole car community

After my dad left I lost an interest for cars, but forza is what re-sparked that interest for me and I’m saving up for a S13 rn, while growing up I always loved cars, but now I’m watching all these laws get passed taking away what I grew up dreaming about

I actually completely forgot about this trailer for many years, but i watch this every now and then and it just gets to me, friends will talk about how cool electric cars are and they just don't understand it. It's not the same. I refuse to ever back down i will fight to own my ice cars till the day I die. I want to experience the soul, the sound, the emotion that can only come from an internal combustion engine. I have yet to own what i want but im still young i will experience a screaming v12 and a thundering v8 and the orchestra that is the porsche flat 6 in the 3rs. It will happen.

Sadly what he is saying is true and even more relevant today. I’m 16 years old and cannot wait until I can drive and I’ve always loved JDM cars and super cars. But if people like me and the rest of the car community are just going to be looked down upon than I don’t really know what I’m looking forward to. That’s why the car community needs to stick together. It doesn’t matter if u have a manual, automatic. Super car, rally car, JDM, coupe, saloon car, hatchback or 4x4 we are all united in our love for speed, performance and most importantly the character of our cars.

I totally agree with you my friend, Im fearing the future of cars for us too... Soon the electrical cars will make an major move on the market after hybrid cars and will sound like the latest dyson vacuum cleaner. I dont know if you watch F1 but by the looks of it, FIA is trying to downgrade the engines bit by bit and etc and next thing we know, they'll be electrical, there is an video og an electrical F1 already on youtube so, yep I called it.. :(

miss this game so much. It had my favorite tracks which some didn't came to forza 6.

Its just so refined. You have to appreciate the clean tones and actual feeings that are in this commercial, love it! Mr.Clarkson always delivers
