One of the best forza's so far

I think my jaw just permanently fell open. THE GRAPHICS ARE SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!

Looks great so far!! I love how they bumped up the FPS to 60!!! I played Forza 2 as much as anyone could, and with the new in-car view, new physics, and graphics...I'm not sure how I'll get things done :-D

Can't wait till October! Glad to see road courses are back.

i've owned GT1-4 , and after playing Forza2 , i've never looked back. can't wait for this

The crazy thing is that Turn 10 has worked on this game in less time than Polyphony Digital has been working on GT5 and this game looks just as good as GT5. And I don't know if you guys caught it or not but the tire on the FordGT is actually flexing. That's impressive!

Man i haven't been a big fan of the series but when i saw that M3 i knew i would have to get this game!!!

Damage is confirmed for GT5, and can be seen for a few seconds in the E3 trailer, and it looks really good

i love this trailer, music is awesome. but how the scenes fit perfectly with the music is plain awesome. best part theres gonna be alot of these videoes coming out cause of the video editing tool and leader boards.

Remember that FM3 was made in 2 years (not much done the first year as they had to update FM2 with bug fixes, extra cars etc.) and GT5 has had a wopping 4 years since GT4 was launched. Then again only time will tell which game is the best ;)

That's exactly what I'm saying, in GT3/4 the rallies were just circuit races with 2 cars, in GT5 since they have a proper WRC license they can use real up to date cars and tracks, and we could see full rallies... Although to be fair I doubt that.

And look at how that turned out. I'm a GT fanboy, but they're making the same mistakes they always have. Hitting a wall at 180 mph, and just continuing the race it just insane, and not sim at all.

The WRC was not on the 3rd and 4th series, instead Polyphony had to make to with old individual rally licenses to come up with some "rally challenges" which were not great, and certainly beared no resemblance to the real thing. GT5 has a full WRC license, so they can use official cars and tracks to hopefully create a full rallying experience.

1. doesnt matter what happeneed in the past. The last full game PD released was GT4, a playstation2 game. GT5 will have damage, period. 2. nascar is more challenging than you think 3. graphics in gt5p are amazing, more realistic than we have seen in fm3 videos

You don't have to listen to them...for one simple reason: the features list was not well translated from japanese. That 170 cars thing could mean anything: damage visible in the cockpit, more damage to these 170 cars (don't forget the word "premium" from the features list) etc. Kaz said that not all of the cars will have damage, he didn't say only 20%, there's a big difference.

From 0:35 it's Pendulum. Not exactly sure what song from them, but it's probably not hard to find. Sorry for slow reply, but asume that's better then nothing.

You only need one. The second contains cars and tracks and can be installed. As far as I know 90% of all PS3 games has to be installed, this is the only Xbox 360 game I know of to this date :P

GT5 will be pretty much like GT5P, the difference between one and the other, is that GT5P is like an extended demo of it, while GT5 will be the full game...

I used to play gran turismo games but when I first played forza i was hooked! I play fm3 a lot these days, never touch gran turismo. I love to drive cars in real life and I have raced on tracks (nurburgring is my favourite) and for me the FEEL of a car in a racing game is the most important and forza is just in a different class then gran tursimo.. Another important thing is the SOUNDS of the cars, again a different league. And graphics, well just look above. Love it. Best racing game ever made.

dude one of the best things of forza is the steering and stuff the steering is the uniqnes of forza

they might, or might not, hopefully they will though :D but remember in FM2, they had vintage cars and some manufactures that only had one car under that region thing.. plus i think theres like 300 veyrons.. hopefully thats enough to put it in the game though :D

Kinda wish there was trucks in the game like a chevy s-10, ram etc... to add a challenging twist the dodge ram in GT4 was interesting but i want it with damage and realism

yeah.. and forza motorsport 1 was a game for the xbox, and they got it right the first time.. your point about the consoles doesnt really mean anything, since both GT3 & 4 were for the previous gen console, just like the original forza.. and they pretty much made a perfect game..

Man I can''t wait til this comes out. The only reason why I hated Forza 2 was cause I felt like there wasn't that many tracks and (I know this sounds stupid) the lack of cars (only cause I felt like I could have more than what was offered). This though...dam, this one is a little more promising.

for a driving simulator not to have damage modelling is like parachuting without a parachute.. it's something very essential, considering how it's supposedly a simulater, right?

Im more of a gran turismo type guy but I gotta admit Forza 3 is looking pretty good for u 360 people.

There was no WRC in GT4 and 5, they were individually licensed cars, and made-up tracks. Nowhere does WRC, IRC or inmarsat branding appear in these games.

@LambOfNile thats the thing you nailed it on the head GT5p is a demo and looking at the gameplay vids and all that its going to be a close run thing when GT5 does come out this year but we'll have to wait and see what the sony stand at E3 has to throw at us

right!! That's why it is going to be in GT5. Old generation games couldnt handle good damage physics anyway. And dont forget that FM1 came out after GT4. Forza games exist because of Polyphony Digital's work.

Really though, the cars in this look pants, check out 1:15 too, the cars in the GT5 trailer actually look REAL, and I know they will be because they always use ingame footage for their trailers. It's unlikely I'll be getting a 360.

By that I mean the 360 handling the graphics intensity.

Well, hopefully it'll all work out in the end for both of our parts in the balace issue. The boosting the numbers is definitely adding bragging rights, but there are many possibilties for them doing it. Another could be for the people who like collecting cars, even if they never touch them. It could also be due to the starting amount of money. It would be boring to see the same car in every race until you had money for, lets say, a corvette, no?

@XanthiFans Forza 2 Pwned GT when it first come out. GT5 isn't even out yet and Forza 4 due out in 2011.

I don't know, The GT series has some of the really cool features, like Rally and F1 cars. Weather. But it doesn't have the same feel. The AI are so tame, the excitement of the last lap, last turn pass at Laguna Seca for first just, doesn't feel the same. Forza the AI is aggressive and mean. It feels good to win. I often find myself flipping the bird to AI after they pinch me against a wall and I pass them. It's just me, but I love the feel of Forza. Rewind sound Geh in all respects.

I hope this has a in car view,better online and better graphics then it will surely defeat GT5 with its already superior customisation

To some degree you're right. However I believe the Forza team have done an amazing job. The only really way to tell is when the games come out. It'll be a tough battle no doubt. I don't favor one game or another. I have a PS3 and an Xbox360 so I really don't have a favorite. Both are sure to be awesome games.

I think GT5 will be prettier, but im gonna have to try out the physics to see if it's any better.
