You can definitely see the new PI system at work. Some cars are lower/higher in PI by a decent enough amount that it'll significantly change what upgrades you can fit.

Happy to see the return of the Toyota GT-One and the Bentley Speed 8 but sad that many other race cars from that era are still missing. For the CLK-GTR they don't even have the road version this time, which they usually always have. Probably one of the cars that they are holding back for the car pass... The track list is more disappointing than the car list though. Many iconic tracks missing and the 3 new fictional tracks all seem rather basic.

The CLK-GTR appeared in a few of the achievement images for the game so I am really hoping it's just hidden behind events, otherwise I too will be majorly let down as that's the one car I wanted the most.

If the car used to be in the game, it most likely isn't going to be locked behind the Car Pass in FM8 (unless that car is the 911 Sport Classic then it's more complicated).

@@c4r4dd1ct6 I suspect there might be either hidden cars or (more likely) cars that were patched out for the release version...I was very excited when I was 95% sure I spotted the 2018 Porsche 935 in one of the trailers earlier but now it's nowhere to be seen . But now that I see the car list it's possible that I mistook the Mission R for it, which I've never seen before and could possibly have a similar rear view

It’s finally great to see some proper GT3/LMP/Touring cars return to the Forza franchise. It’s been a dry spell since FM7 that Forza Horizon couldn’t quench.

We didn't even get any new ones, just ones from 2018. And then the least they could do is bring back all the old GT cars if they weren't gonna give us newer cars. But the Z4 GTLM is missing, and so are the SLS GT3's and the old Super Trofeo's. No GT3 or GTLM Ferrari. What is the dev team doing.

I'm noticing a distinct lack of cars period. There's only one LMH/LMDh (in 3 different colors; they're not actually different cars), some Forza GT cars are missing, still no GT4 machinery, there are zero DP.i cars *DESPITE* seeing both the Cadillac DP.i *and* the Acura ARX-04 DP.i in the game, first in the trailer (the Cadillac), then in the menu for the game (the Acura), etc. It's absolutely ridiculous, *especially* for the game that prides itself on being the motorsport game (that is literally what it is called)

The S15 model is still the same I'm literally dying of laughter 💀💀💀💀💀

It’s nice to see that Infiniti has some good cars in here instead of just the Q60 concept like in horizon still I wish they had the g37 sport sedan, the Q60 and Q50 red sport and also an M series car

When I see all these classic LeMans cars I hope we get to race them in online races with Qualifying and all that. That would be awesome.

Just last night instead of putting FH5 on I played some FM7, felt good. Love the new car list, can't wait to try a few out.

I think NASCAR will come with an expansion/DLC like FM6, still don’t understand why so many are missing. Even the F82 M4 isn’t there, only the GTS. Same for the E92 M3 as well, hopefully you can remove the wings and/or put the reg M3/M4 spoiler

Considering the number of F1 cars from the 1976 season, it is somewhat disappointed that we did not get the legendary 6-wheeled Tyrell P34.

the fact that the speed 12 is gone and the 2016 corsa is still here sums it all up

I highly doubt that they’re gonna add in an updated model of the Hellcat. I already noticed that they removed the Challenger Hellcat, and they still have the same 2015 model Charger Hellcat.

RC still in the game let’s goooo (said only me). In any case, the car list is an interesting one.

I was surprised by some and disappointed by others. Wasn't expecting a lot of the older Le Man protos/racers, but the hypercar selection is truly lacking, especially considering the huge pool in FH5. Weird to just leave a ton behind, and as a little Pagani fanboy Im still let down by the lack of choice for brands like that. We got a wagon Bugatti, but we got 3 in total from Koin and Pag? Strange choices.

In one of the shots present on IGCD, the McLaren Senna GTR was shown in game but is not shown in the list so i am guessing it's unlocked in the career mode if it's in game. Also, they should have brought back some missing cars such as the McLaren F1 GTR, Mercedes SLR and so on

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV was in Forza Horizon 2, but would like to see it return to the Horizon games.

Im very happy Forza continues to include Australian cars, but a bit dissapointed they removed all of the utes😢 If they're still re-using cars, why would they get rid of anything?

Longevity, more likely than not. They did say they don't intend to make another Motorsport title after this (at least not for a long time) but intend on keeping this game going with updates and added content. I guarantee you they intentionally held back certain models so they can "add" them in future updates, or maybe some of them will be completely redone "from the ground up" as they liked to say leading up to the release lol.

car line up isnt bad. i hope the put the gen 3 supercars in the game and the current gen nascars and the lexus gtd cars.

No Pontiac g8 gxp and Chevy SS sedan like Motorsport 7 I hope to see a more wider range of Australian/American muscle cars.

Bro I’m gonna sound like a saddo but I jumped when I saw the Toyota Trueno because idk why I just find that one to be my favourite and there isn’t many games that have it anymore so to see it is exciting

I seen people ragging on GT7 because most of new cars aren’t past 2018, I better see the same energy for this as well

Finally 5th gen prelude

Car list has variety for the diff car divisions and that’s great, I still can’t help but acknowledge missing cars from past motor sports like The Murcielago of any trim TVR Speed 12 No GMC No Hennessey No Zondas No Acura RSX No Cc8s and so much more that sadden me aren’t here. Motorsport 2-4 had such great cars not returning and it saddens me. Nonetheless a good a car list.
