Fun Fact for anyone who didnt know, This corvette is actually a stingray and was supposed to be fully electric hints the name e-ray but chevy wasn't ready to switch to electric just yet because they felt it would be "unlikable".

I got to see the E Ray at the Chicago Autoshow, I believe it was one of the first times it was at a show, and it was in a pretty seafoam green like color. Best part about it is that it still looks just like any corvette, but the fact that it can drive on electric power so you can leave your house to see your side chick during your midlife crisis seems cool

Speaking of awesome Corvettes, the new c8 z06 is in the new forza motorsport and I'm hoping it comes to horizon 5 as well, in horizon I believe you can put the Z06 parts on the E ray which is cool.

I absolutely love the E-Ray, I can't imagine how it would do in online races (also this thing sounds fantastic)

I'm pretty sure that the 6.5 V12 the strongest engine! In Fh3 this 1515hp lambo V12 was op!

@@Frieze_XD You mean the V8 is more pi efficient? I rewatched it and the weight difference is only 220 lbs. So I assume that especially for drag racing the V12 would be faster.

@@Frieze_XD tbh I don't believe that the V8 is faster then the V12. The power difference is just too big compared to the weight difference. Maybe the V8 is more Pi efficient which would maje it better for online racing where classes are limited.

IRL the front wheels are electric and the rear wheels are ICE, so the electric instant torque probably will not help for drifting. Probably also explains the lack of understeer if the front wheels are launching and the rear wheels are doing all the high-speed work.

If the damn corvette zr1 19 model on the game had a higher top speed than 199 or whatever it was with stock motor and swapped to AWD.. then I would actually love To use it.

i prefer the rear end on the new c8 zr1 over the other model

@AR12Gaming instead of using drag tiers next time use snow tires. For some reason they get grip when you need them and then when you hold the e-brake they slide forever.

Nick, I bet you didn't know this. So you probably know that AWD means power to the front and rear, but the e-ray has the V8 sending power to the back, and the electric motors are upfront so you can get a perfect launch every time.

6.5 V12 is an Aventador engine with 700hp, fully built I think it makes 1515hp so try it, it's more powerful

A hybrid. That is good. Far more logical than a full EV. It would only be more so if they ditched the battery pack for a capacitor bank, probably save 15 grand on the price tag and cut a couple tenths off the 0-60 and a few hundred pounds so it would corner faster too and have far better crash safety.

My Prius battery is 23 years old, and it only weighs 115 lbs. Capacitors with the sort of capacity a hybrid drivetrain would need are EXTREMELY expensive.

@@aspecreviews Yeah, I can admit I didn't read how big the E-Ray's battery was, its only 100lbs and 1.9kWh, I still had Tesla's 1200+lb -bomb- _giant_ battery on my mind at the time :P Even so, caps would provide far more current so the motors could provide more power under peak load at the cost of range, though the motors would have to be made to handle that. Perhaps supercaps, for now at least, would have to stay in the realm of Koenigseggs and Paganis and Bugattis until the process is refined enough to scale it up to consumer transportation, because they are far better for the environment, far safer and use far less rare earth metals.

So I have been playing FH5 ever since it came out and I just got Forza Motorsport today and when I tried to get the e ray in fh5 it was not loading in im not to sure why they are. Im also using both of these on game pass
