Typically the Forza games have a four year licensing contract, FH4 got a 6 year lifespan though, so it could be the same for FH5

Without those licenses, we would have MUCH, MUCH less content. I'm ok with it. The saddest part for me, is, when they take away all the community liveries, -tunings and -events.

Sad that Fh4 is gonna be Digitally D-Listed. I still have it on the Xbox One and loved rallying through the forest. Also the Turbo Rally engine sounds SO much better here then FH5.

These memory will be missed... staying late for sniping cars, completing seasonal playlist with friends. this game will remind me curing my boredom before entering the college still remember helping new player grind, helping getting the cars the want, etc...

At least the game is still available to play despite it being delisted soon. The same can’t be said for Ubisoft’s The Crew. Eventually, the online servers will also shut down but we can still enjoy single player mode.

Fh4 is the best game when it comes to atmosphere and I would argue graphics as well. The game runs way more smooth, no crashing shooting you back to dashboard, it was a complete game from day one. Even the sounds are arguably better, I play fh4 more than fh5, fh5 is in my storage if that says anything. Yes we have more body kits in fh5 but that doesn't make you want to drive down the countryside. Glad I have it now and not play it through game pass.

4:37 you can still get top 1000 on danger signs, in the main map their are 2 or so danger signs (definately northbound danger sign) and you can still get top 1000 on all speed champions danger signs and the majority of the jumps on fortune island

I remember when I rented the first Horizon and played it on a friends X360, the old one not the slim, ring of death times. Since then I got the Xbox One on release just for Motorsport 5 and thinking it can only get better, in fact brought me back to console gaming first time since N64. I remember when Horizon 4 came out, there were two kinds of people: a) I hesitate a bit and b) omg I spend days creating and selling decals for early easy money and achievments. Ironically later I found out that most of these people never ever play the sadly delisted FH2, they just started with 3. I don't think those in control let FH4 go away due to soundtrack license issues. In digital versions they could easily remove songs without license for further sales, it would be the easiest change possible, only takes minutes. In fact that happened to GTA IV, when the licenses expired they went on with digital sales and just some songs removed, easy peasy.

Sad its way better than FH5. One detail I love about it is there are more long wide roads where you can drive fast. Too many curves and small roads in FH5. But I dislike that they delisted the Hotwheels DLC cars same day as the announcement. No warning. Thats pretty bad.

Too bad XBOX erased all my sometimes hours work worth of clips on this game🤧 Great memories it will be nonetheless

Forza horizon 4 was my First game I have played that was not Nintendo. I was about 14 when my parent allowed me to use my dads PC because everyone in my school had a PC, xbox, or a Playstation and I was jealous. It will be my favorite for ever. I still suck at every single game. I usually get stuck in tutorials.

MS are giving out codes for the standard edition of FH4 to people who bought a piece of DLC for it, even if they played the main game via Game Pass, which is pretty cool of them, as then you can carry on playing after it's been delisted. They're sending the code via the regular messaging system on Xbox. Not sure if it's just an Xbox thing, but I don't see why they wouldn't include PC gamers.

I have it on Microsoft store, however I think I'll buy it on Steam again on sale before the delist just so it's in my Steam Library and able to play it on Steam Deck for convenance sake. At least the game is able to be played once the delist happens unlike other games out there.

If i have it on xbox gamepass do i still have it? Or i can still play it?

I haven't bought the game but I have all DLCs. Do you know if they will give the key as they did before on other versions?

bought it a year after release, had 3 savegame chrases, came around and completed it again each time. Never made it to grandmaster in online, and only missed owens McLaren out of all the cars. Yeah, Not sad. I got my hours out of it.

@@PsuNotPsu DUBS would be a better guilds if plains and waterfalls but as far as cliffs and castles go, the cliffs of moher were sick and blarney castle was cool. In Limerick there’s a medieval feast in a castle with really good food and a guy named Bren does Viking tours in Dublin.

Sad sad day boys.. I never understood why people disliked fh4. In my opinion fh4 was almost, if not better than fh5 And I'd like to point out. The trees are actually realistic in Fh4. But Fh5 is not entirely close to realistic, there's no random metal unbreakable shed in the middle of nowhere.

Everyone used to hate on fh4 but now suddenly its good just because fh5 exists. fh5 is straight up better, the map & scenery is the only downgrade.

Prefer 4 than 5 especially the music
