The Lamborghini LM (Lamborghini Military) has an engine straight from the Countach 500hp V12. Some or all (I forgot) were built in US so the US military could use them. He didn't go from Tractors, trucks, to cars. Also are military doesn't have any more. They blew it up unknowing it's value and rarity during some testing.

Lamborghini made tractors in the 60s. The founder of the company owned a Ferarri which he didn't like certain aspects of, he built a car fixing those aspects and that is where the supercars started from.

This seems like it wouldn't make a bad rally car. Mess with the tuning and put rally tires and it might be pretty good! You should try it!

Lamborghini actually started by making tractors, and than the guy who owned lamborghini got into a fight with Enzo Ferrari over bad customer service and decided to make his own supercar. Than after World War II the US government was wanting to replace the jeeps they had been using and asked manufacturers to see of they could come up with a replacement. Lamborghini sent them that truck you were using, but the US government decided to use the Humvee that they are still using.

Its not an army truck, you can consider this lamborghini your super expensive and luxurious range rover evogue of the 80s. This car was very luxurious and made for like the rich arabians. A funny note: this car has one of the very heaviest clutches in any production car (not semis and such) (idk if semis have heavy clutches i live in europe u know)

Yeah thats why every lm002 is equipped with full leather interior and luxurious gadgets. The LM001 was built for the army but they indeed went for the humvee, so this one was built for rich people

Actually, his wife had a Ferrari and the clutch kept going out so he had his mechanic look at it, they used one of his tractor clutches which fixed the problem and when he went mr. Ferrari like "hey I found a way to fix this..." Mr Ferrari basically told him to piss off, so mr Lamborghini decided he was going to build sports cars his way...

Lamborghini did start out making tractors. That is true. But he bought a Ferrari and didn't like the way the car shifted, or something of that nature. He mentioned this to Enzo Ferrari, who didn't really care what he thought, resulting in a big argument where Enzo Ferrari basically said I'd like to see you do better. Basically Lamborghini began making cars as a big middle finger to Ferrari. This big off road thing actually has the same V12 the was in many of Lamborghini's super cars.

Mr Lamborghini's Ferrari had the same clutch as his tractors, so he reparied the Ferrari with a tractor clutch. Mr Lamborghini then approached Mr E.Ferrari, Ferrari said "You are a farmer, keep driving your tractors & don't come complaining about my cars" Mr Lamborghini then began to build his own sports cars. After about 20 years of making sucessful supercars, Lamborghini began making a truck for the Italian armed forces, that pile of garbage: LM002, it had the same engine that was in a Countach, & speedboat U-Drive, the SUV was a massive fail & only about 300 were made, Lamborghini started making supercars again. (that's the real Lamborghini story Nick)

Lamborghini started making tractors post WWII and by the 1963 after he was quite wealthy he bought a plot of land and decided to start working on cars. The Miura was born from then and the lamborghini supercar has been known world over since then. The Lm 002 was created as a candidate for a NATO contract that the HUMMER ultimately won. It used a Countach engine, had specially made tires that could run perfectly fine with literally no air in them and had a 290 litre fuel tank. Fun fact, the US military blew one up that belonged to Uday Hussien in 2004. Edit - The whole ferrari insult thing is up for debate seeing there is no real proof anywhere.

In 2005 it cost £1,200 to fill one up.

After driving his Ferrari he discovered that the clutch was too weak for the car and was not sophisticated enough, so he contacted Enzo Ferrari. He told him about the problems that he was having with his Ferrari and Ferrari's response was if the car isn't good enough you can build your own, so he did. This truck was made a while later to compete with Hummers in the civilian market.
