I play competitively with Arc 770 and run 300-400 fps in creative uncapped without fighting 200-300 just building 120-180 fighting in an actual game 100-160 in stacked endgames Settings: 1720x1080 (Stretched res) Performance Mode 100% 3D res Low everything Med Distance Other notes: XMP + Slight Overclocked DDR5 Ram (Adds like 5-10 FPS)

What cpu?

I use all medium settings, 66% 3d resolution, 1440p, ARC A770 resizeable BAR enabled, Ryzen 7 5700X, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, I get average 150-170fps, but I have the newest GPU drivers unavailable at the time of this video😅, Fortnite is optimized and I use Razer Cortex Game Boost but it does not really help lol.

You are playing at 900p resolution with 66% resoluton scale, no wonder you get such high fps lmao, to be exact "1689 x 950" is your resolution

The switch screen and the console is optimised to make 30 fps not that stuttery

Like for example try god of war on ps4 it will feel a little smooth now try that on pc And 30 fps is very stuttery

Brother your eyes can barely detect the difference between 30 and 60 fps the average human can only see to around 30 to 60 which means there's really no point in chasing 100 fps cos you can't even see it unless you are a statistical anomaly the only point in fps hunting is that some games variables are tied to fps like rng but then keeping it at 60 makes it more predictable. I agree big numbers are nice but realisticly there's no point. EDIT: higher frame rate does give better latency but with newer tech like anti lag+ and whatever the nvidia and Intel equivalent is can give you very good latency at any fps

there’s definitely a difference between 30 and 60 fps and it is very noticeable. If your monitor supports higher refresh rates, then the difference there is also astronomical at higher fps compared to 30-60
