I personally like always on perks as a feature. Not being able to turn them on and off makes you have to consider your decision and how you build your load out.

Haven't really felt the need for having an option to turn any of them off, EXCEPT for the one that randomly makes Helium Balloons pop out from your back... That Augment definitely needs an OFF Switch!

I think there a two possible reasons behind epics disappointing content. Either, A: Epic is getting lazy and doesn't care what content it puts out, or B: Epic is taking on too many projects at once, and are stretching themselves thin.

Think it might be both, tbh. They’re taking on too many projects at once, crunching and grinding, and as a result are getting burnt out, bitter and lazy, with their attitude for Fortnite changing from “let’s make it excellent, plus ultra” to “eh, money is coming in anyways, let’s just reskin a bunch of stuff and call it a day”. Sad but true 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d say it’s more of B. I think Epic knows that they’ve been killing it lately, especially with the introduction of “No-Build”; but because of the increase in hype they’re scrambling to stay on top; which could bite them if they’re not careful

Both. They're definitely creatively bankrupt at this point and need as many shiny things to get kids interested, but they also keep _buying things_ when their supposed flagship is a mess. There's no improvements to what exists, there's things that should've been removed day 2 of _conception_ (looking at you shotguns), and now there's bugs that make the game unplayable (inability to mantle or reload weapons [encountered day 1 of this season], inability to sprint [encountered multiple times this season]).

I would say probably B. Creative 2.0 is half of Fortnites priority. So when it is out the updates should be better. Also this is one of my favorite seasons in a long while.

I agree, kinda disappointed with all these problems and lack of content in this chapter. Gets boring after a while even tho i love this game so much !! Their is alot of cool things about Chapter 4 but also more than a couple issues/things missing…Hope Epic hears the community and the chapter gets better/more fun. Great video 👍🏼

I mean, we're only just one update into the season. Epic's been on break for the past 2 - 3 weeks for Winterfest. But now they're back, and bug fixes and the second update of the season is coming soon.

I have also noticed the map feels too small, every game is like a choice between Brutal Bastion or Anvil Square. The places between don't feel worth the effort either... I just hope they fix it!

Well, lots of people complained the chapter 3 map was too big after chapter 2, which I agreed with. I think this map is a decent size

Another problem that I’m not sure is happening to anyone else but apparently when I load into a match of BR, I find myself unable to tactical sprint or do the “2nd” sprint

Had this as well. No crosshair for first person weapon like red eye and no ability to sprint. When that happens while playing duos etc it is basically a lost game from the start

Same!! It's so annoying. Especially when playing in a lobby. I can't sprint, i have no red dot or a way to tell where's the centre to shoot. Sometimes it's on all weapons sometimes just one. Sometimes it randomly comes back in the middle of the game. But the most annoying is not being able to run. Especially if the zone is coming in hot.

as someone who quit fortnite a few years ago and came back in chapter 3 season 3 i am absolutely disappointed. this was my first fortnightmares, my first winterfest and my first live event. i watched so many videos of stories and events i missed out on and got so excited to finally be able experience them myself only to get so damn disappointed. things need to change or i’m gone

I hope they don't screw up anymore cause I think they may be working pretty hard on Creative 2.0 so maybe more content will be in store for us!

Just shoot them in the air… been the counter for all mobility in this game for years.

I think what happened was that chapter 4 was released early to compete with war zone 2, which could explain all the bugs and why so much was cut it of the last event to release it early

I absolutely hate that they removed impostors. It was one of my favorite ways to gain XP when I had no quests I wanted to do. That, along with the fact that I HAVE TO do the weekly quests within a week, causing me to have no quests to do even more often because I'm afraid I'll forget so I do them very quickly, is very annoying.

I think that most of the old LTMs would need to be updated to work for Chapter 3/ 4, and since that may be a bit of work, Epic just didn't bother. After all, why waste time with LTMs that aren't probably going to be played as much when there are thousands of creative maps, and we're working on Creative 2.0 which could make even MORE unique stuff? Same thing goes for making new LTMs, the more recent LTMs have been pretty advanced/ unique (Impostors, that Escape the Island LTM, etc.) so other new LTMs would be just as much work, and again, likely not worth it.

I don't mind the exclusive rewards being in the item shop at all. That way, if people miss out because of work or whatever reason, they can just buy it at least.

I'm personally more concerned about whether or not it's lying. Did they SAY it would be exclusive? If not, then nothing's stopping them from putting it in the Item Shop. But stuff like Battle Pass cosmetics are definitely exclusive, hence not coming back. I don't think they ever said the DBZ free rewards are exclusive, so no point getting mad at them returning. Same thing with "Rare" emotes.

the worst thing is not being able to run and having no red-dot

I’m mad about the weekly challenges disappearing after a week. I always need to grind towards the end to get the last few skins of the bonus awards.

I was so disappointed they didn't reveal more about The Nothing after teasing it for years. The very first mention in the entire game is in Save the World when the last part of Canny Valley (Act 3) released in 2018. Then again in the secret text during the blackhole between C1 and C2. Then not again until The Cube Queen mentions it in her trailer in C2S8 Fortnitemares. Finally a lot of mentions in C3S4 and the mini-questline with Bytes.. But then I really expected more in the Fracture event. But then it was a short cutscene of the island blowing up after being 100% chromed... and a huge fetch quest afterward. I hope we're not going to have to wait until Fall to get back to that story.

The Fraxure event was so freaking disappointing compared to past events. Hated it sm and then when people started getting kicked out

Love your vids! Thanks for explaining everything so quickly in a way that’s easy to understand. Despite all the problems, I’ve been having more fun this chapter than I have in a while, but it definitely is frustrating when the bugs occur.

It'd be nice if the item shop was a rolling weekly change. You'd still get items added daily, but they'd stay up till the next week. Sometimes ya miss out on stuff in the middle of a work week, and maybe that'll make people happier that don't like the illusionary scarcity that kinda preys on kids.

I still remember when they promised that Save The World was going to be free to play. 4 years later and still waiting

The nothing is also mentioned in Save The World. It is a reference to the Storm King and his army

Here's my take on the rare emotes and stuff. If it is (or ever was) in the item shop, it can come back and should be able to without complaint. The only skins that should never be made available again are battle pass and season 1 season shop.

The bug that keeps you from sprinting on zero build is still there

I don't mind reskins at all especially if you're a newer player. I'm just mad it's evident that Epic isn't planning to reskin or remix Dire or Hybrid anytime soon.

Honestly, this videos on the pretty much sums up why I stop playing for like a long time. Like I just stop playing in chapter 2 after season two or three I can’t remember and I like recently just picked it up for the last season that just happened of chapter 3, and then now I’m on chapter 4. yeah

Honestly the biggest fix is just literally Just update the map a little bit more Go back to some of the older days in a way like the rock family and stuff like that were overtime stuff changes And for instance just adding maybe a couple more bosses that have just mythic versions of items At new items just a mythic version of an item that's just a little bit more powerful

Epic's been on break for the past few weeks, we're still only on the first update of the season (The Winterfest Update), the season has practically only begun in terms of content. So new stuff (including map changes) should be coming soon. I personally think they only really did mini-stories like that when the devs were done with their actual content work and made the mini-stories in their free time. So the lack of mini-stories might show they have loads of content coming soon. Also, usually the bosses are Battle Pass characters, but I don't think many of them would make sense as bosses, and even if they were, they'd likely have a unique item/ weapon, not some buffed weapon. Speaking of which, people for some reason hate mythics that are just "weapon but stronger", and part of this video is about "Epic keeps reusing stuff" so yeah.

I love chapter 4 for 2 reasons, the memes and glitches. It makes the game so fun :).

I know this is off topic but: The ability to shoot through the shield as a teammate is most likely intensional and isn’t that game breaking it is a common thing in other games and it makes a lot of sense

I personally don't mind the retextured skins as it gives more of an opportunity to get the characters you want you missed out on their first release then boom here's your second chance at this character like I originally missed out on the Tom Holland Spiderman then I got the comic book Spiderman skin from one of the previous battle passes

The biggest update stuff is just baloney to me maybe this one I understand as it could be old locations returning like how crackshots cabin did I’m just mainly waiting for steamy stacks and maybe in some new version with agency stuff as it was my favorite place just annoyed they showed the cooling tower in the event and did nothing also hope lazy lagoon returns as cannons were in the event it’s just this map is small and making larger would be good to make it fit the sizes of chapter 2 and 3 also I mean it would make sense narrative wise as it’s the zero point pulling in more locations that are in space

After all, Epic has only done one Update which was the Winterfest update, then they went on break, which lead to the content drought and loads of bugs. It's also probably why the story has been on pause, because they've been on break. Note that the storyline quests are coming back next update.

After hearing you talking about all Fortnite issues i agree and maybe Epic should make a Blizzard move to make Fortnite Classic as Blizzard did with WoW to become WoW Classic. Well i started my Fortnite game at 5th Jan 2020 so i am not a OG player so i can't compare how Fortnite were in past. I was mostly thinking of OG players. When i buy skins in shop i mostly buy that i feel it's "me" skins. However i do wish they put a special item shop there players could buy old Battle pass skins because i missed out Sparkie Specialist skin. After i seen that skin i really love how she looks.

I think what would save the game is if they bring in a blood fx setting and maybe even ragdoll effect when dying also they should make it double tap A button for xbox to hurdle over obstacles instead of just sprinting and it instanly hurdles it

I totally agree. I don't like this new 10 level system also to get these new battle pass skins. It's fine if you're under level 200 and are still trying to get all the battle pass skins, but if you're over 200 like me, I have to wait every week to gain 10 levels to get the next reward. The levels you gain after the first should count, I shouldn't have to wait a week for them to count. I'm playing less because of this. I also think they should add new hero cards of some of these skins or at least battle pass skins for Save The World as well as new rewards like loading screens or new quests.

There's 2 new things I've noticed in Fortnite with the recent up-to-date. 1. If you get fireflies and go to collect more, there is no animation in collecting them like there used to be 2. There is also a broken bow that can be brought from one of the NPC in Breakwater Bay, and it's an exotic weapon and every time you fire the bow it changes what it fires e.g shock wave, firebow, stinkbow etc thought was pretty cool and one of the only channels that updates fornite news seriously so thought I'd share here

Tbh I love the weekly challenges. I wish we could get the old mechanic back where we can swap out 1 mission like we can in STW.

I thought that epic bringing back collab skins was nice, because it was around christmas time, Marvel, Star Wars, and Dragon Ball were dropped for the christmas season, it really gets me wondering if they are gonna bring back anymore for future christmas events

My problems with chap 4 and even chap 3: WHERE ARE ALL THE LTMS. Last season, I think we ONLY had solid gold for half the season. Weve got NONE this season!
