7:42 "9.8?" They don't spell it out but scales like that are usually logarithmic. So a 7.4 it 10x a 6.4 and an 8.4 is 100x a 6.4. Therefore a 9.8 is something like 2-3000x that 6.4 critter that Kafka vaporized. 12:25 I love Sheera's level headed analysis.

I'm a manga reader on this, and I am so damn glad the anime is doin this series justice. Super hyped for all the future reactions, yall gonna LOVE this show!

I’ve been frustrated with the manga’s pacing for a while but it probably won’t be as much of an issue in anime form with how fast and snappy the action is adapted.

Nah Kafka blew the mind, body and soul outta that Kaiju 😂

I agree with lupa 100% him being funny is the only thing that stops him from being terrifying.

Easily my favorite part about that punch is that not only did Kafka OBLITERATE that things entire Torso and up, he turned its blood INTO MIST with how hard he punched it.

I think what happened is that the parasyte kaiju was supposed to take over kafkas body, but didn't for some reason, and kaiju no. 9 is what happens when it *does* take over. That or Kafka is supposed to be kaiju no. 9's counter and defeat him, which would explain why the parasyte said "found you" before entering him.

Spoilers: The parasite Kaiju's sole goal is to kill all other Kaijus. Kafka has an encounter with him mid fight and he tells Kafka "Kill all kaijus."

Yo at 5:45, I said the same thing. Her pops look so much like Endeavor that it made me believe that it was the same voice actor

I highly recommend reading the manga as well as watching because not only is the art amazing, but little things the anime doesn’t really have time to get into mid-scene are explained in more depth.

Never read a manga before and this was literally my first and I couldn't stop reading for two days. The amount of development they gave to literally the whole team of characters with some getting "numbers weapons" made of out world ending grade kaiju was so interesting to see.

i love hows hes goofy and not some emo boy its honestly so refreshing

I dunno if anyone really noticed, but that one he took out with a backhand behind Shinomiya was a Yoju, the same type he charged up to punch right after he left the hospital. So they stealthily showed the power scaling while also giving you the fortitude level....I LOVE this shit.....

I wasn't really sold after the first 3 eps of this show but THIS EPISODE HERE... now im LOCKED TF IN!!!

Kafka activated " Almight " mode

I'm on chapter 106 of this manga by the same name, and has been over for a week. The final fight between No. 8 and No. 9 has just begun. Waiting for the next release. Not really a spoiler, but the monster in this episode is named Kaiju no. 9, and he is OP.

This show is so good, it's the right amount of action I need in an anime!

This is going to be my favorite of the season. Recoil bars for the legs is craaazy. Turned buddy into literal mist.

Just to put Kafka's Fortitude level into perspective: the Fortitude scale doesn't seem to be linear (we'll see better examples of why later but obv no spoilers) so the difference between Kafka's 9.8 and the Kaiju's 6.4 is a huge one. Also, the subtitles don't do it justice. In the manga they straight up say that Kafka is THE strongest known Kaiju in history

remember guys, the kaijuu scale is based on the same system that we use for earthquakes, the richter scale, wich is logarithmic. That means tha 9.8 is orders of magnitude higher the 5.8, more than a 1000x. Kafka is a whole diferent beast

I hope you guys check out parasyte the grey, for a live action spinoff that was awesome. They even put some respect on the mechanics behind how parasties are are supposed to work i was very grateful the goat got their respect.
