I got a special video for you guys today, an updated tour of my favourite gym, Fortis Fitness. I've been going there since January 2012 and Sean has been a mentor to me, teaching me A LOT about lifting, providing motivation and support (he was there when I first deadlifted 505lb and benched 315lb). He has probably been the most influential guy to my lifting career, by far. What most people don't know about Sean is that he a mad scientist. He makes the majority of the equipment you see at Fortis. He spends his off hours from the gym drawing schematics, coming up with more efficient ways to lift (like the Fortis bench) and building new pieces of equipment (like the car jack deadlift, the low bar safety squat bar, the push up apparatus etc). The gym is a peaceful coexistence between powerlifters, weightlifters, strongman trainees, bodybuilders & general fitness enthusiasts. In the video we show some of the newer pieces of equipment and the changes since the last tour. He literally has doubled the equipment... From 2 weightlifting platforms to 7 From 2 deadlift platforms to 4 From 12 power racks to 20 And a whole lot more. Enjoy the video! If you like it, make sure to like it. I did my powerlifting cert there (Sean was one of the instructors). Amazing facility and such down to earth welcoming people. It was very hard to go back to my home gym after spending time in paradise.

+EvanGetsAesthetic I know that feel bro :( We only have 2 squat racks in a huge LA Fitness gym, there's always a line waiting for a turn. But there are over 60 cardio machines that are mostly empty ! Oh and 3 empty smith machines of course.

This gym s fucking unbelievable. I wish I had something even remotely close to this one where I live.

Sean's a hustler. Got his gig selling custom equipment and even has one of the best gym's North America. You sir are a success.
