Yes from boat jetty its walkable, you can also hire auto if required, which is available next to the boat jetty.

From ekm railway station you can hire an auto to Ernakulam Jetty from there you will get the boat service to fortkochi or mattanchery. Nt sure about 2 wheeler renting near to boat jetty.. but there are rental spots in the streets of fortkochi..We did walking and hired auto basically.

There are 10+ venues for the biennale, with a timing of 10-7, so you would need 2 days, if you want to explore everything in detail.

Ernakulam South or north railway station iranguka anenkil ,you should go to ernakulam boat jetty near jetty menaka. From there you can take boat service of swtd to fort kochi.

Visited Fort Kochi with family for my daughter education tour of Bienalle. Felt very sad and disgusting that all restaurants serving Beef. Only restaurant we find is Rasoi. It doesn't serve Beef. When you roaming on streets of Fort Kochi you will that either you are in Muslim city or in Christian city . Never like to visit Kerala.

Apologies for the wrong information saying 'david hall was built during british period', yes it was built around 1695 by the Dutch East India Company and thanks for pointing it out.
