You changed this to "0", I have a USB in my console, so should I use 1? = [1=FT absent & CS : North American & ANC absent & USB present]. Trying to understand the difference between 0 or 1? I have a Ford 2015 F150 3.5L TT EcoBoost. Your videos are awesome, thanks for all the great information.

Mine has USB also but the 0 worked... not sure why it list 1. You can try both, just save original .

I just did my 2020 Lariat yesterday,I hated it . Especially in sport mode I swear it got louder . I came from an XLT w 3.5 ecoboost and it didn’t have it,this lariat does. Of course while I was in there I disabled the double horn honk that I absolutely despise.

Lol. Awesome John. The double honk is what did it for me. I was like, there's got to be a way to remove this. And then there was FORScan!

Is there more than one engine noise? What if you changed it from 2 to a 1? . . . or a 3? great saving tips

do you know if the 5th gen explorer has this? I get a low tone base noise at low rpm in every gear for like 2-3 seconds til I accelerate or decelerate.

I like the sound but if it's fake, give me options like big rig or tractor.. F15.. whatever!

How does it make fake engine noise? Does it come through the stereo?

As I understand it, the fake engine noise is also noise cancelling that at part throttle plays and opposite sound/frequency to what the mic picks up like a set of noise cancelling headphones--I'd like to try and delete the noise cancelling. Have you ever heard of this?

We have a 2021 ford f150 with the 5.0 coyote V8. Does it also play fake sound? I hope not because it sounds amazing.

I just drove a 2021 5.0 king ranch and it must have it. Very loud too :/

I have a 2019 3.5, but once I got into the 727-01-01 block, the numbers were totally different. mine were 3A8A, yours were D200.

Most vehicles will have different codes. But double check to make sure you're changing the right one. And only change whats required.

@@ricardosworkshop Thanks! Actually I was able to go in non-As Built and simply disable and write. But having played with the truck a bit, it seems to be off in normal drive mode, but still seems to be active when in the Sport Mode. Is there a separate "Sport Mode" engine enhancement?

Anyone have a precollision assist on off pop up when turning on your vehicle? Only happened after I started making some forscan changes.

I have the 2.7L eco-boost but want the V-8 sound. Can forscan do that?

Do you hear the enhanced engine noise? Not sure if you can add it... try. Just save your original settings.

Does this Forscan works with Ranger Wildtrak Bi-Turbo?

I have the correct values but for some reason after I press write all at 66 percent it says service procedure failure and won’t change it successfully. Any ideas?

I've always wondered why people disable the sound. It actually sounds really nice, I think whoever invented that idea originally was pretty smart.

Until you install upgraded stereo with amplifiers and it’s so loud when you accelerate that you can’t hear the music. Sounds completely awful. Trying to disable mine today and hope it resolves this problem.

Yeah, it's a very low frequency tone... Bigger subs will make it louder. (and certainly any bass boosts turned up on the amp will make it crazy loud! )

Yupp I have the same problem on my 2020 ford ranger,if my bass boost is in the medium or high setting I can definitely hear the engine rumble specially when I turn it on on a cold start and no music is playing 😣I just ordered the ford scan tool so I can tweak with the settings😀

First of all, I have an ‘18 2.7 EB, so I guess I have no engine noise enhancement. However… at my 727-01-01 address, my second number set is 1800, and you had D200. You changed yours to D000 to get rid of the “noise”. Now here’s my question: Where or how do you find out what any of these number sets equate to? How did you know D000 gets rid of the noise? Why does mine have 1800? What does 1800 mean? Is this all just “trial & error”, or is there somewhere to reference various number sets?

Hi craig, dont worry about the other digits. Its only the second digit of the second set. I had a 2, you have an 8. Leave everything else the same. Each digit can be something different.

One of the very last production models of this body style, as it just came in from the Ford Kansas City plant on a train two days ago. And I bought the autostopeliminator.com Port plug in to get rid of Stop Start! Haha
