Oh i see what Raf is saying. You only drop the prefix vowel when the element starts with an a or an o. For example, there are two vowels (one from the prefic and one from the element) in diiodine..

dont the acid formulas have to have a (aq) at the end

+Top 10s metal like elements always come first. Now here is the question; which is more metal like between the 2? Bare in mind the further you go down, the more metal like you get. The one below is more metal than the one upper. I believe right?
