eh calm down. Try starting a race engine with no provisions for cold start fast idle control and 320 degree duration cams and not blip it and keep it from loading up.

I could see my 5E-FE looking like this but finding parts for a Paseo has been.......troublesome lol. Not well connected enough to get parts made. How did you tune the ECM? I've been told to take it to get tuned somewhere since i can't just plug a computer in, but I want to get into rebuilding older small JDM cars myself. And I'd probably have to ship it out considering my location. Love this motor bro, it looks like it rips lol

Normal for a 4AG, looks scary and probably causes inaccurate timing. Now days we ad an additional tensioner.

Seems like the timing needs to be advanced. The throttle response seems a little off. Im no expert in these engines im just giving my opinion based off what i see and hear. It shouldn't take that long to start it up.

All 4AG's do that. It sounds rough due to huge cams and tight lobe centers.

That's running like shit... Put a 4AG on the internet on bodies and the kids go wild... Truth is, this one has been mapped by Ray Charles and needs a few hours on the dyno, with a man who knows his job.

Truth is race engine with 320 degree cams cold start is gonna run like that. This engine runs hard.
