I think Ottomans stepping in and crushing rebellions for you is historically accurate. Since they are your overlord it is in their best interest for your country to be stable and economically viable, and they want their image to be of a protector not an oppressor

Razboi impotriva Austriei eliberezi Ungaria si war rep poate dai si partea mica din moldova inapoi(chemi pe Oto si apoi ei ii cheama pe Prussia, va trebuie putin noroc sau armata). Dupa truce ataci Ungaria si o faci protectorate apoi din nou sa o faci puppet(inainte puteai sa o faci Dominion din prima si puteai dupa 5 ani). Pe partea cu Moldova(inainte razboi impotriva Oto si o faceam tot protectorate si apoi dominion) acum ai aprox 15 ani pentru nationalism(pana cand expira x2 truce cu Ungaria). Am testat mai multe modalitati si poti sa faci feed la Basarabia daca ai destula forta militara sa fie ceva reala incercarea pentru AI. Unlike you the social worker might actually understand the circumstances that lead to people to poverty. Unless you want a world where cruelty reigns and despair and death befalls all who cannot compete in increasingly specializing job markets.. Idk, we used to view it as a marker of the successes of our governments that we could uplift almost everyone from poverty and thus avoid proletarian revolutions.@@razvansfirlogea3134

The majority of the Romanian people I deal with do work for their living and we need imigration of workforce, especially in lower paid jobs, in Austria. The problems origin in the people I work with having a different and, compared to the people who grew up with a socialization and education that is Austrian standard (although this has been diminishing for different reason in the last couple of decades) worse "starting basis" than almost all people in my family, friends and social surroundings I know. We do have parallel societies in Austria/Europe and one of them is the badly educated and socially excluded group of Romanian (especially Roma) people. Sorry for that excourse, I just wish everybody well who wants to change things for the better and who stands for democracy and social and political decency, no matter what political, religious or general views they have, that don't collide with democratic principles. Stop separating each other and let's work together for a better future for all of us. We are kinda in the same boat (earth), so it's logical to work together and not against each other. Spock would say that.

As a Romanian I can only dream. But we're held back by the bad decisions of the past, and by outdated socio-political views amongst an aging population.

Good Movie! Protagonist: Ludi (kings of kings/sky) Minor Character: Alexandria Ghica (King of Wallachia) Antagonists: Ottoman Empire, Russian Empire, Austria Empire The ending is also beautiful, not that blobby.

Since the day the 1.5 update came out and I discovered that Paradox added "Romanian flavor" I've been waiting for you to play and form your nation. It's really beautiful to see the excitement in your actions while taking care of your country and doing justice for your people. I feel exactly the same way when I start a play with Brasil. Oh, and I love these movie length videos, I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but it's better for me to "board on a journey" and finish it all the way, rather then waiting a week or two to know what happens next, that kinda takes me out of the play, while watching. I know it probably requests more effort to do it like this, but I'm kindly asking you to consider making it more frequent on your channel. Best regards from your fellow, also a native speaker of a neolatin language, here in Brasil.

It was a strange feeling that, as a Hungarian, I enjoyed watching Ludi capture Transylvania as Romania.

One of the reasons Ludi is my favorite Vic 3 streamer: Whenever he talks about history he does so with fascination and love. Even when playing his own country he never falls into nationalism or pessimism- he knows history is best enjoyed as a story with lessons to be learned from!

I stumbled upon this video randomly and was pleasantly surprised as a Romanian myself it was nice to learn some stuff about Romanian history thought this vedeo (I don't really know much since I was raised in a different country) continue with the great content

Great run, Ludi. Very organic development. As a fellow Romanian early-game exploiter I noticed you took it really easy :) I usually make an effort to pass all the nice laws such as proportioanl taxation, interventionism & parliamentary republic - as well as completley destroy landowners + orthodox church & sometimes the peasants (if they have a Royalist) during the revolts by having elections that will get them outsided so they have low legitimacy. This way, after their party gets destroyed, and civil war is over - I am left with only the nice progressist partiesI Combo that with legitimate government + full authority to pass these good laws fast and you will have an incredible & optimal run.

Bro this playthrough was so gooddd, appreciate all the mini-tutorials Ludi threw in

Fun fact, American schools do make you raise silk worms. I went to school in socal, and both me and my sister raised silkworms in school.

Actually funnily enough I learned how to raise a silkworm in elementry school in America specifically in California. I had honestly forgotten about it until Ludi mentioned it at 5:25.

It's true about the silk. My mother used to tell me stories about raising silkworms when she was a kid. She actually has a few silkworm cocoons that she kept as a memory from childhood.

Looks like things went quite well in the end, things were certainly rapidly building up at that point. Though I guess you'd have liked having 10 or 20 more years to really build the last bits out there.

I have never learnt how to play Victoria, so I will be thankful for any kind of guide (specially an economy guide)

I try to form Romania with Wallachia(I'm Romanian too and i like to learn a paradox game (hoi4, eu4) playing my home country even if it's harder), but i got destroyed by a landowners revolution(when i try to pass homesteading) even if i had on my side France and Ottomans :)))) (the war mechanics are beautiful).

I REALLY do want Ludi to make an economy guide for Vic 3. That's because I absolutely do not understand this game and I've lost all the hope, not a single guide that I watched helped me yet. After watching these videos though I really want to learn how to play it

wow, cool! didnt know that we had silk worm production in wallachia... these were some well kept secrets for thousands of years and they brought the worms in frmo china at some point; also the romans / byzantines also seemed to have some kind fof silk production

We still do, but it's not that industrialized anymore, although there are some incentives to revitalize the industry.

I got myself a new laptop for Christmas. It doesn't crash for me anymore. It could very well be that your hardware is just too old to keep up with the game.

the mobilization goods price only counts for when the troops are mobilized. The army doesn't use any of the extra goods only the goods that is there to maintain it.

It's an option in the game rules that allows u to use that money in whatever u want(based on evonomic policy) instead of the ai actively sabotaging ur industry
