And she went on to say that "these companies that over-commercializing s*it like this is stupid. Rainbows here, rainbows there. Just ridiculous. I mean, I came out when I was already an adult, so I knew where my mindset was. But the fact that these companies anf other places want to indoctrinate kids into this is just sad and sickening." ... it was interesting to conversate with her, because we both believe that these things should be within the community and private. I hope she continues to fight the fight against this. It's already sad enough that young kids are being exposed to drag queens reading to them.

The tuck bathing suit(s) and binding top for the 2 piece was the most publicized but it was the baby and toddler apparel, the other items that are marketed for children and tweens. The huge in your face when you walk in the front door section (not a display a huge area), the fact that early May it was in the store and will remain in the store s through June. Where was the Memorial Day support those who fought and gave all for us to have the freedoms we have - it was basically nonexistent. It wasn't one thing, or that they sell pride items (they have for years and they have an open bathroom free for all policy). They have simply lost touch with their prime customers, they have just gone too far.

Weird. In talking to many people who are not shopping there now, they claim it's because they don't want Target sexually targetting their children. I had items still with tags bought before this. Walked in store and politely returned every single one with plans to never step foot inside again. I was a die hard target shopper.

I don't mind that, I do mind that it was set out early and taking center stage in a lot of stores during MEMORIAL WEEKEND....where that stuff is tucked away with the pride for our country. No-one owes it to Target or any business to buy from them. Shoppers use many reasons to determine where they shop. Target gave them a big reason to go elsewhere. If the company overlooks that reason or misrepresents it, they may find that the change on shopper preferences hardens at it did for Bud Light.

The walmart in my town doesn't have a pride section and the children section the clothes are patriotic themed with red ,white , and blue. There are a few items in the beauty section labeled pride but that is it. Walmart doesn't get political. They stay in there lane.

I go to walmart alot and I have not seen a pride collection up at my location. Its not about the celebration of pride month its what Target is displaying on their merchandise.

It's incredibly clear that this prev. CEO has been given his talking points and is trying his hardest to keep the conversation away from the PRIDE boycott. His social credit score went way up with this interview....

The thing is, most reasonable people don't mind if the rainbow etc people follow their own desires amongst themselves, what we don't want is that it seems to be compulsory in effect, with companies and education pushing this stuff on the population at large.

It’s about a boy who is an author and who doesn’t feel the need to be labeled as trans all the time. It’s not telling children they should become transgender. It is good educational material about helping children understand when other children grow up transgender. I think it is good and wonderful for children to be taught compassion and understanding about this kind of thing that does exist, and for children too become inclined to be accepting and respectful of those like the real life Grayson, or Dotson. A book like that is very important as it helps children to want to respect he former Zoe’s wish to be called Grayson and to support him. He accepts if they make mistakes, he just wants acceptance and for people to try to understand. He certainly deserves that. I saw no indication whatsoever that that “Dotsun…” children’s book gets into medical specifics about puberty blockers and other medical procedures. Do you have proof of that?

I don't want Target or any other store to try and cram Pride stuff on me. I hope they go out of business for such poor and twisted judgment.

Simply displaying and selling wonderful openminded educational books for children and Pride items for older customers is not cramming anything on anyone. Nobody is forcing you to buy them.

Walmart has upped their game. Cleaned up and widened the aisles Their clothing store wide is high quality and their grocery inventory has improved both in selection and price. I’m pleased and avoiding Target isn’t as painful as I thought!

Glad to hear it, the ones here have the ugliest clothes I've ever seen, no choices at all, same for most household products, shoes, linen, dishes. Aisles are almost impassable. Even candles which everyone buys are ugly, they don't even carry taper candles at all. So much merchandise is from China. Maybe they'll improve them.

I prefer Whole Foods and Sprouts. But it’s everyone’s personal choice. No one should be telling others where to shop or what brands to purchase. America suppose to be a free country. Little by little freedom is being lost, and a lot of Americans are to blame.

Did Target forget that the stripes on the pride flags are straight. Target needs to pay more attention to small details.

I remember when stores tried to sell items instead of agendas. Glad I sold my Target stock a couple years ago

I've avoided going to target for the past two weeks. Normally I'm there 2-3 times a week.
