@@mariettayaton2919 the people of Donbas have been murdered due to their Russian ethnicity by the vile Nazi Azov battalion. Over 12000 civilians have been slaughtered since 2014. It is very sad to see Ukraine tearing down monuments and calling Bandera a hero. He was a Nazi collaborator who murdered his own people. The Russians, men and women, mums and dads, teenagers died to rid Ukraine of Nazi occupation. 27 million. I don't think Zelensky could control them if he tried. Russia's people are not Nazis. The Russians take Nazism very seriously. Happy Victory Day! I pray these brothers can remember the common destiny they share and realize NATO and the USA are using them.

Russia has never cared about its soldiers regardless of the war. When Hitler's armies attacked the USSR in June 1941, soldiers were sent into battle with just few rounds of ammunition if they had a rifle. Many charged with instructions to pick up a weapon from a dead comrade. The state has no concern for the many soldiers it sent to their deaths. Due to negligence and incompetence, Nazi Germany captured millions of Soviet troops with millions to die because Nazi Germany wasn't prepared to house and feed so many POWs plus the Germans looked on Soviet troops as subhumans as it did many Slavs.

Battle of Moscow, Stalingrad, kursk and seige of Leningrad all took place in Russia. Still, it's better to call it a victory of the Soviet people.
